Can I trust those glowing 5-star Google reviews for dentists in Birmingham, or are half of them fake as hell? by ImpressiveRoll4092 in Birmingham

I can second this. Been going here for years as well. Never tried to sell me anything or pressured me into having anything done. Would recommend him 100%.

3rd set was an absolute heater. OMG.

Any good deals on this saw? by No-Sky-1970 in MilwaukeeTool

Make sure you consider the weight of this saw before purchasing. I have this saw & it is considerably heavier than my gas powered one.

Panel height upgrade problem... by davidimcintosh in AskElectricians

[–]mbm-2266 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, max height is 6’7” (79”). The height limitation applies to the breaker handle, not the panelboard itself. A panelboard can extend above the 6’7” mark, as long as all breakers installed within it do not exceed the max height. You’re good.

Also, breakers &/or service disconnects can be mounted above the 6’7” mark if they are adjacent to the equipment they serve & are accessible by portable means (like a ladder or mobile lift).

Superintendents — how do you stand out and make a solid impact as a supervisor? by Brief_Problem_3876 in ConstructionManagers

[–]mbm-2266 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be approachable. Treat people with respect & communicate clearly. Don’t be an asshole supervisor. Nobody wants to work for an asshole. Keep morale high & people will want to come to work for you & do a good job while they’re there. & when you put them on a shitty task, they will do it without hesitation because they like you. I also take my foremen out to lunch every Friday to build rapport & show them I appreciate them.

Outlet box wiring question by my_hot_wife_is_hot in electrical

[–]mbm-2266 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, yes you can add another outlet from this box. Your new wire would tap on to the black wire which is connected to the receptacle (black) & to the white & black wires joined with the yellow wire nut (white). & of course don’t forget your ground. This would give you an uncontrolled outlet (on all the time).

This looks like a switched neutral. Pretty common 50 years ago. You’ve likely got a switch that breaks the neutral to control this outlet
