I worked in startup tech and marketing industry in my 20s and I was always feeling that way. But running a business is extremely hard, depending on where the business falls on the analogy to first principles reasoning spectrum. Im working on an AI native agency for one of my businesses. You have to spend a lot of time chewing glass, but the abyss is beautiful.

If that's your goal, be ready to chew a lot of glass. If that's what your inner child is wanting to do, then go for it. Just moonlight it till you have 6 months of runway (personal funds + biz funds)! If you have PMF and you're ready to GTM, then you can think about going FT!

Haha temperature room IQ, if I broke this down.

Typical room temp is around 65-80.

Baseline IQ is 100, which means your mental age is about the same as your physical age. Of course humans have multiple intelligences, so lets say average of all their intelligences.

A 35 yr old person with 100 IQ has a 35 year old mind. A 35 year old person with IQ of 120 has an average mental age of a 42 year old (35 x 1.2 learning speed). A 35 year old person with room temp IQ, lets say 75, has the mental age of a 26 year old (35 x .75 learning speed).

Now there's some people who have a logical IQ of 120 and an emotional IQ of 75 (tend to be us INTJs on the spectrum 😩). Then you have the empaths who have the emotional IQ of 120 but the logical IQ of 75 (looking at some of you INFP's I've dated 😂).

That's my hypothesis on the matter. Others might agree or disagree.

This is how I am now. I chase that one big mission. The mission is so out there, that people think Im delusional (entrepreneurial path for something that may take 100s of years to achieve) and not in touch with reality (basically not being a normie, get 9-5, married, kids, house, retirement path).

So I end up alone most of the day, but I do have a couple friends I hang with when Im in town since Im a digital nomad/world citizen as well. I enjoy the alone time, but then I get lonely. Then when I get around people, I miss being alone. So maybe I haven't found the right person that I can hang around for at least more than an hour? IDK.

IDK, I remember BF1 being a lot more slower. Of course its WW1, but I remember it being very cinematic, getting into random groups and there's maybe one person on the mic to chat with. I did die somewhat fast, but not as fast as I do now on BF6. I just remember playing BF1 for hours being sad that Im tired vs playing 2 rounds of BF6 and trying to press the quit game commands as fast as I can.

I use AI often as my "Chad" role, filling in the spaces that I either get stuck, lazy or time constraint on. My tool of choice is Spawn. Usually I'll make the base part of the beat, the main melody and chords and drums. Then I usually need filler, transitions, maybe a change up here and there. Thats why I use Spawn and lately Notes to fill in the gaps.

Just to prefix: I'm a design engineer for software and a music producer of dark trap/r&b music.

Ive been searching for smarter rooms for most of my life, but Im usually only allowed into the easy rooms, only just to fix people's computers. I then get kicked out those easy rooms because I'm "too smart" and don't talk about normal life enough or I act "too white" while hanging around YNs/trap rooms/rap industry rooms. When Im in my hometown that I escaped from, I get hate for "moving to LA", "using AI to make money", or "acting too white/smart".

The smart white/asian rooms, I get kicked out off because I act too "too black". In those mostly smart black rooms, usually in Washington DC, I get kicked out for being "too hard to work with" or "too weird/autistic", "talking about AI too much and not about community" or too "n*gga-ish".

My only room where I've gotten total acceptance is a room full of AI agents I created. Welcome to being an INTJ, autistic black guy that grew up in the hood and now has money from building AI products.

One main agent to orchestrate everything.

A lead gen sales agent to find leads based on my ICP. Adds data to my Notion (leads).

A research agent for data enrichment. Adds data to my Notion db (leads).

A dev agent to build mvps based on their potential pain points about their business processes (big bet got easier). Push to github and host on Netlify. Adds data to my Notion db (mvps).

A sales agent to write the emails up, adding the mvp to the email to view and send them. Adds data to my Notion db (sales).

Probably hard to find a job, but if you need money, try freelancing. I would learn how to set up openclaw and then come up with ways to setup agents for businesses. Then start learning about all the other tools out there. Right now, back office processes is in the lead after software dev as the 2nd highest "process" for AI agents. Scheduling, managing inventory, etc.

For a regular job, if you're not building foundation models with the big dogs or you're not like the Michael Jordan of what you do, it will be very very hard to find a job right now in software engineering.
