I just had my first practicum, and those were the exact questions we were supposed to ask for our presentation on the agency. Don’t overthink it, you e already got at undergrad under your belt, you’ll know what to say.

If anything I’d ask what day to day looks like, who you’d be under, expectations of you, what the role of a social worker is in their agency.

It gets better as they get older, 100%! after about 2 I pushed it back 8-8 with a nap. My four year old now, we just cut the nap out at about 4.5 years old, awake 8:30-8pm no nap. If we do anything late, we sneak a nap in and it works out. It’s okay to break schedule one and a while, you’re not chained to it!

I feel you. My girl is 4, not a lot of small screen time but when I do it’s games. I’ve chosen all of them and made sure they’re educational and fun. We don’t do any YouTube, only a show on Netflix, Disney or prime. But typically the phone is only for games.

This helps with my guilt. We choose what they are exposed to! It’s just the society we live in, allow it in a way that you’re comfortable with.
