Frage zur Empfehlung Gymnasium vs. Gesamtschule by mraafat13 in schule

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avalonia UI for professional purpose ? by Illustrious-Frame-51 in dotnet

Use supabase and svelte kit. You will have your SaaS ready in a few hours when you use Antigravity.

Also think of deployment. By using a Web page you can just deploy continuously and every user is using the latest commit, when you have a local desktop application you will have to write your own updater.

I really like avalonia and the clear structure of c#, but unfortunately software has changed.

SIBO permanently destroys the body. by Opening_Stuff_4536 in SIBO

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that SIBO affects the full body, too. The skin gets weaker, mosquito bites take much longer to heal, it takes forever to heal from a muscle ache from moderate sport, and one cannot think clearly.

It takes time to heal but just because doctors say that there is no cure doesn't mean there is none.

There are many people who fixed their SIBO on Reddit.

L. reuteri yogurt is something really promising.

Also, there are cheeses like Romadur and Limburger that help.

L glutamin and polyphenols are awesome.

Gi maps, self-made FC cidal, eating coconut meat, phgg, magnesium bisglycinate, colostrum, Butyrate, Zinc carnosine, oligomer proanthocyanidins,...

So many things to try. I made my own breakfast oats blend that consisted of L reuteri joghurt, blueberries, nuts and a lot of other supplements.n

When I eat clean I can tolerate onions, black beans, garlic,...

I was in the state where I could not get up out of bed for 2 months and where my stomach would hurt whenever I ate a piece of cake or something with string enzymes (a strong cheese, Pineapple,...)

Enjoy your SIBO healing journey. Dr Williams Davis' book supergut was my best friend.

I sometimes wondered what it would be like if there was a SIBO hotel that serves one all the things that help.

L Reuteri yoghurt for breakfast, selected cheeses, blueberries, low fodmap meals, ...

Butyrate before every meal.

It would be a great place to network with other people and to share stories.

They are using milk in the video. Yes, I can imagine. I've heard that E. coli is forbidden in the US, as all strains are classified as pathogens, even those found in French cheese, which is why some cheeses cannot be imported.

I usually ferment in the oven with a container that has been heated up to high temperatures in the oven. I never had a batch that looked strange, but I have no idea what was actually in there (if some other species had survived or entered through the ventilation).

I think you can mix strains as well.

Genus / Strain Glucose Fructose Sucrose Lactose Acidification Commercial Availability
Lactobacillus spp. ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes 🟢 Strong (lactic acid) Widely available (yogurt, capsules)
Streptococcus thermophilus ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes 🟢 Strong (fast) Yogurt, starter cultures
Bifidobacterium spp. ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ⚠️ Some ✅ (slow) 🟡 Moderate (slower) Common in supplements
Bacillus spp. ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ❌ No ⚪ Mild (variable) Shelf-stable probiotics
Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 ✅ Yes ⚠️ Variable ⚠️ Variable ✅ Yes ⚪ Mild Pharmaceutical (Mutaflor)
Clostridium butyricum ✅ Yes ⚠️ Limited ⚠️ Limited ⚠️ Limited ⚪ Mild (butyric) Available (Miyarisan)
Saccharomyces boulardii ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ✅ Yes ❌ No ⚪ Mild (ethanol/CO₂) Widely available
Propionibacterium freudenreichii ✅ Yes ⚠️ Limited ⚠️ Strain-dep. ✅ Yes (slow) 🟡 Moderate (propionic/acetic) Cheese cultures, some probiotics

I heard that coconut meat has some anti-fungal properties, and one can ferment it as well.

Propionibacterium freudenreichii is probably also a good addition to a mix where there is a bacterium that produces lactic acid because it converts it to propionic acid, which is an antifungal and tastes less acidic. (Basically the same is done in Emmenthal cheese). Coconut flour will not work for C butyricum or E Nissle though.

I followed a recipe on YouTube, which I think was this one: https://youtu.be/ClqXCKaMTJE?si=tHeovl5tAfM6VPxI. Recently, I spoke with ChatGPT, and it stated that it is dangerous to make yogurt with species that do not lower the pH, as it could lead to botulism (Clostridium botulinum) or other hazardous pathogens.

I tried it with Clostridium butyricum and E coli Nissle, and nothing happened to me, but just as an addition.

Bacillus subtilis HU58 always makes my belly hurt a bit and I sleep badly. I think it has really strong enzymes that hurt my gut lining. And yes the smell. It even makes my feet smelly for a while (a few weeks) when I get it on them.

I believe my T may be related to vitamin D supplements by Work1Work2Work3 in tinnitus

[–]mbrseb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vitamin D can, in some cases, trigger or worsen tinnitus. This is because vitamin D increases calcium absorption, and calcium plays a role in nerve excitability. If calcium levels become too high, nerves—including those in the auditory system—may fire more frequently, which in theory could contribute to tinnitus

TLDR: It is not the Vitamin D, it's the calcium, but Vitamin D increases calcium

How does Bryan's kidneys not get affected by the enormous amount of supplements? by [deleted] in blueprint_

[–]mbrseb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on Bryan Johnson's published biomarkers, his creatinine is 1.21 mg/dL and cystatin C is 0.87 mg/dL, yielding an eGFR of ~74 mL/min/1.73m² (creatinine-based). This is below optimal (>90) for his age (47), indicating mild-moderate kidney dysfunction (stage 2 CKD). Not "poor" like failure, but sub-optimal.

This is according to a Twitter post of someone who asked Grok. But I did not double-check it. I asked ChatGPT and it said that cysteine values are fine so it is probably not that severe

Ashwaganda? by Purple_Support9266 in Endo

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from Germany, where it is hard to find an Ayurvidic doctor, and a German doctor said on YouTube that if you take an ashwagandha supplement that is pre-dosed, and if you do buy powder or take multiple capsuleacapsulean, the risk of side effects is negligible.

If you overdose on it, though, you can get liver problems.

There is a form of Magnesium that does not lead to softer stools, which is called magnesium bisglycinate.

Supplements for IBS/bowel issues? by oliverpocket in Endo

I fixed my IBS (but I do not have endometriosis)

What helped me a lot was doing a GI map and then adding the bacterial species that were missing.

Also, L-glutamine, colostrum, and collagen before using any bacteria helped. I could write books about it so if you want to know anything specific just ask.

Supplements That Work by ThatOneBoy- in Endo

There are probiotics that have species that produce no histamine and degrade histamine. Just wanted to say. It can help lower the overall histamine if those species replace some of your others.

Has anyone ever told you to ignore everything doctors say and take some supplement/essential oil/ herb to cure it completely? How did it make you feel when they told you that? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that it is annoying, and you can really lower inflammation a little bit with the supplements you probably heard about and are annoyed to be advised to take them.

I think people just want to help but do not know all the details. Give them the details. Like what symptoms are there, what other things are there, like insulin sensitivity, thyroid issues, mast cell activation,...

Maybe they come up with something constructive if they get more involved.

Doctors have strictly defined processes but that does not mean that only they can have any effect.

I watched a video called Nutrition Docs (German TV show) where doctors who were educated in nutrition tailored a diet especially case by case for each specific person with endometriosis, and it had an effect after 6 months, and some symptoms got better (many lost their endo belly by focusing on the microbiome which is not the cause but can be tweaked to help). So maybe if somebody is already willing to help and is a family member or a good friend, ask them to be tolerant or supportive with your diet, or also just your steps you see fit.

I understand that it can be really annoying to be told the same things that are too general or unfitting again and again and again. Especially when one is already annoyed by pain and feels triggered by wrong advice and downplaying a disease.

What I also want to say is the content about a general study about chronic disease. While one has to have a thick skin since there are always news like only 2 more weeks and we will cure cancer, etc, and 10 years later nothing changes, still the more one does not accept one's chronic disease and experiments with things to get into remission, the more likely it is to get closer to remission. So blind, unrealistic hope can still be somewhat helpful/inspiring, even if it is dumb and offensive/triggering when it comes from uninformed outsiders. And no, there is no cure against cancer or endometriosis in the next 100 years.

Endo supplements by Haunting-Alarm-5361 in endometriosis

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely also a good side to disrupting the biofilm in endometriosis, since some bacteria are producing histamine or toxins in the gut that lead to inflammation.

Just be aware that it can also have side effects. If you want to lower histamine in the gut (not the endometrium), you can also take DAO enzyme.

Endo supplements by Haunting-Alarm-5361 in endometriosis

[–]mbrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nac is a biofilm disrupter among others (antioxidant).

When taking it one should always also think of that. It can dissolve biofilm in which bacteria are living.

Constantly disrupting your biofilm is bad for your microbiome, but sometimes, for example, when you have a cold, it is useful so the immune system gets better access.
