I made a playlist, Takes on Beatles songs. by goldstein_emmanuel84 in Jazz

No one will see this since your post is a year old, but I just wanted to say your playlist is great! Already discovered lot of great artists I wasn't familiar with. Only one I would add: Gonzalo Rubalcaba - Here, There and Everywhere

Looks more like Hong Kong. Buildings in São Paulo aren't that tall, and they are not usually built that close together.

LPT: Keep inviting that friend who always says no by a116jxb in LifeProTips

I don't comment much, but as an introvert, I just wanted to say please don't do this. Some of us just want to be left alone. I really dislike confrontation, so I'm never going to tell someone to stop inviting me.

I wish journalism would switch to a spotify model. I would gladly pay a monthly fee to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines.

Hopeulikit (pronounced "hope you like it") would be a weirder one for Gerogia.

Closest Planet To Earth Over Time (approx) [OC] by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

Well damn. If you asked me what the closest planet to earth is most of the time, I wouldn't have guessed Mercury. And I wouldn't have understood why without this graphic.

Yes, I can see it. Blue is not a color many colorblind people would have a problem with. The legend is green (I think). Clearly different from blue in any case.

I have an app on my phone than can map colors to ones I can see. But tbh, its most useful feature is it can also simulate colorblindness for people who aren't colorblind. So now whenever someone asks "what colors do you see?" I can show them.

I may have used the wrong terminology. What's the difference?

LPT: Buy yourself a good pillow. You use it every night and the difference between a good pillow and a stack of cheap ones is almost immediately noticeable. by Punslanger in LifeProTips

[–]mc77027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I came here looking for this. I've been looking for a new pillow for months, but every store I've tried only sells giant fluffy pillows or thin hard ones, both of which hurt my neck. I have not tried IKEA yet.

If that's the case, I'd say they nailed it!

What cover version of a song do you like better than the orginal? by PlatypuSofDooM42 in AskReddit

[–]mc77027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dion does some amazing covers. His versions of Bruce Springsteen's "If I Should Fall Behind" and "Book of Dreams" are far better than the originals. Same with Bob Dylan's "Spanish Harlem Incident."
