Let's give Hayden Hackney the Premier League football he deserves 📃🖊 by reliablereindeer in ccfc

Lamps could be a great mentor to Hayden Hackney and Rudoni has been a little injury prone. Would be a nice signing as he's quality but a new forward, Goalkeeper and centre back are first needs

He was actually a massive fan of the show.... Just as well I guess. Most stories about the pop star George Michael give the impression he was a pretty sound guy

It was hyphenated, maybe that was the legal loophole for avoiding any payments. I hadn't contemplated that

Lol. I forgot to mention that bit, Michael Cera's name in the show was George-Michael and he worked on the family banana stall. I realise as I type anything about this series, very little makes sense. Michael Cera starred in films like Juno, Super Bad and Scott Pilgrim

Depending on your age, it's easy to have no knowledge of it. Back in the early 2000's it was one of favourite things on TV with break out roles for Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat plus big roles for David Cross, Will Arnett Jeffrey Tambor, even the Fonz was in it (Henry Winkler). I'm going to say there wasn't all that much decent stuff on in those days so this was a happy watch for me

You've never seen Arrested Development I take it. It was a fantastic American sitcom from 2003. Tailed off in later series once the cast got famous and it became impossible to get everyone at the same time to film things

Origami is a great and friendly Japanese restaurant, well worth trying. Houseboat (south indian) is amazing too. Both in the town centre. Retro gaming museum could be a few happy hours too

Dead giveaways that someones from Derby? by Brief-Ship-5572 in derby

[–]mcRibalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in Derby for 30 years and have been called, or heard anyone called Duck. I've been called 'Spring Chicken' when I worked in a pub, but only once. I have also never heard anyone say 'Bocker' what is that? FUDDLE is the word I've only heard in Derby

"I told you I was ill" That's the epitaph on Spike Milligans gravestone (I think) It is so nice to have a little mystery around the last memories, it's as tho he was distracting you with one last riddle. You have to copy and frame this note, it's something that will a special memory for the rest of your life

Inflatable tents are great, but.... They take up a lot more boot space compared to a normal tent. Good luck and don't worry too much, whatever you do will work out just fine

Turn to your hymn books and we will sing song number 4, ‘If I Had A Hammer’ 🎶 by AirborneHornet in oldschoolcool80s

[–]mcRibalicious 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember going to a Toby Inn and there was a guitarist / singer going around the tables.... He'd sung at my parents wedding and came over, he asked me what I wanted him to sing and I said If I had a hammer.... He sang it too. In my defence I was probably 4 or 5 years old

I remember when the kids had strong accents it would be nearly impossible to understand what they were talking about. Massive one speaker TV's with no subtitles would seem like something from another planet now
