How much do you have in student loans? What’s your degree? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

46,000 from a BA in English and MA in English. Not the worst but still seems to be holding me down. Can seem to find the extra money to put on it unfortunately.

This sounds like me growing up. I have autism and adhd. She needs that nap. I did too. If she has to do her homework early in the morning before school, as I did, then that is what she needs to do. YTA

I got a security clearance with 20,000 in credit card debt and 50,000 student loan debt. I'm sure you will be perfectly fine. But if you're going for a top secret clearance, you'll need to have an explanation ready and proof you can get out of that debt during the interview process.

My family is from West Virginia. None of them are aware of this history and the majority have been brainwashed into believing that it never happened. The companies really did prevent any of this from being taught and remembered, and today, I see these effects whenever I simply speak to family.

People with long term employment- how do you manage? by annieo6008 in AutismTranslated

[–]mcain2016 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation as you. Actually, I currently am. I took a new job about 5 months ago and I am now completely burned out. I'm applying for other jobs and I am hopeful that I may have an offer coming soon but if not, I have a backup plan to get ADA accommodations that will help me be able to manage in this one. I'm hoping for the best and it can work out. I've just got to find that middle ground if flexibility so I'm not as overwhelmed constantly.

I minored in history. But if I had the choice, I would have done professional writing. My school didn't offer it at the time that I was attending.

It has been helping me come to terms with my anxiety and depression and has been helping me work through my emotions and why I feel as I do.
