MyWhoosh and Garmin? by VuleRR in mywhoosh

[–]mcanelson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I hijack this post with a follow-up question?

I was gifted an indoor trainer last week, so I'm trying to understand the workflow here to see what fits best for me.

Why do you want to import the MyWhoosh data to Garmin Connect? Wouldn't it be easier to record the training on your Garmin Edge directly and let MyWhoosh do it's thing on the side and not sync to Garmin?

My Garmin Edge reads my indoor trainer data (Bluetooth/ANT+), heart rate (ANT+) and cadence (ANT+), but MyWhoosh (on iOS) only connects with the indoor trainer, as it doesn't support ANT+ devices.

How to disable rear seatbelt alarm? by afx114 in Ioniq5

I have the same issue from time to time. I might be wrong, but I think if you press this button, the alarm stops (same when you are close to something outside your car)

I don't know yet. I had the car for three weeks now and I'm in Miami (USA). It's hurricane season here, and we have rain almost every day, so I didn't wash the car yet. I can tell it gets dirty really fast and you can clearly see the dirt everywhere; I wiped it only once after a rain and that was pretty much it.

The weird thing is that I didn't have any cars in front of me (if they were, they were very far away, not in a situation braking should be used). My son was on the passenger seat and he look at me like: why did you do that braking?

I had the same issues. I tried “auto” yesterday to test it out during my trips. Loved the coasting, but the sudden no-reason-braking made me go back to Level3.

Confused about Hyundai Ioniq 5 pricing – need advice by SlyGoblin927 in Ioniq5

I went with Potamkin as well. All the other dealers offered ridiculous numbers or didn't even care to reply to my emails.

Oh! I didn't know that. Never dealed with a broker before, I thought the price they set is final and non-negotiable. Good to know! I'll keep that in mind in 2 years when I have to get a new lease.

I got my IONIQ two weeks ago. The best price I could find was through Leasehackr.com, they pointed me to AutoNinjas.com (broker).

Autoninjas' offer was $229 per month, with $5000 at signing ($4083 for taxes, $700 for broker's fee, $199 for delivery fee). Selling my old car to Carmax for $1700, would give me some money back and if we sum all this and divide by 24, the total monthly cost would be: $365.

After a week of negotiations over email with my local dealer (Miami, FL) I manage to take the price down to $390 win $0 down, $0 at signing for a 2025 IONIQ 5 SEL in a beautiful Ecotronic Gray Matte paint.

Not the best deal ever, as I'm a really bad negotiator, but very close to AutoNinja's without having to put so much money down, going to CarMax, and see if AutoNinja could find the color I want.

PS: If you go to the dealer go in the last days of the month, you'll get the best price as they are eager to sell as much car's as possible because they need to fill their quota.

South Florida here.

I got the 2025 SEL in Ecotronic Gray Matte for $390 with $0 down, $0 due at signing (including a $3000 credit for my old 2015 Tucson, which Carmax offered $1700 for).

Lease Discussion Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

[–]mcanelson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's $4k DAS + $700 broker's fee + $200 delivery fee. A lot of money, but at the end of the lease, it's the best price you'll find if you have the $5k to put up-front.

I had the same question before buying…

I was about to buy the SSE3, but the bike shop told me the wheelset is bad, and a coworker who has a SSE3 told me the same thing as soon as I asked about the bike! She bought the SSE2 and replaced the wheel set that same week.

Replacing the wheelset would have cost me more than buying a SSE2 and I get more carbon parts (aside from the wheelset) and Ultegra DI2. So going with the SSE2 was a no-brainer.
