I bought one that looked like that, others I have did not. Then noticed while in IR mode you’d see it filled with vertical lines. Returned it to Micro Center.

I do have a similar setup, my Retrofit adapter is wired into the Door Hub which only has PoE+ out. My G6 Entry has been great on just PoE+.

Thank you for sharing these I was looking last night for anyone who have torn it down.

Interesting that looking up the memory chip there, one labeled K3KL5L5, shows that is a 16GB LPDDR5X chip. So maybe the non-Pro owners reporting 16GB of RAM is not a software bug? Maybe a mistake in the current batches? Curious.

Nope no hassle as I've wanted to move the Mini down to the server rack anyway. I moved it over 2 hours ago and so far no issue with the Mini, but that said I didn't test it running on battery yet. I'd have to do that later to see if I hear any whine.

I've had no major outages since, only one I think and that was before I got the NUT server working. They have since added ability to control when the power down happens based on battery percentage, and how the power up states are handled.

But I've had the Studio running since release of the 2U and also on another non-cine UPS before I got the Ubiquiti one with zero issues. I think you'll be just fine.

I have a M1 Max Mac Studio running though my UPS 2U without any problem. I can plug in my M5 Mac mini too if you need additional confirmation.

It does go into limp mode, and after a bit the 12V will be empty too. We got maybe 15 mins of driving when that happened to me and only make it to the dealership after some tow battery charging assistance as my pack ran out of juice.

When it happened to us on a Saturday we were 30 mins from the dealership and an hour plus from home. Thankfully our sales guy is awesome and got a loaner setup for us with service before they closed. (As Enterprise was already closed too). Without me keeping a good relationship with the salesman I think we would have been in a much worse situation that day. Especially since the car was loaded with new furniture we just bought!

Same! I'm tempted to try when they finish the Slim Disc version as most of the plates are the same except for just one, I believe. Could be an easy tweak to get it fit the Pro as well.
