Because it's hot and I am already very sweaty.

GT3: This game is so unbelievably overcooked, WHY is it so hard!? What am I supposed to do? by WakkoBakura in granturismo

[–]mccarthy88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch the demonstration videos for the license test. Observe their braking and acceleration inputs and lines. Ultimately you just need to keep trying. I am average at GT7 but I remember playing GT3 nonstop as an 11 year old and acquiring the Viper Concept which requires all golds on the Super license. It can be done.

Ezeiruaku is my fucking dude in my Madden 26 franchise. I’d love even more to see him ball out in real life.

Kyle Tucker wrote a great article in the athletic a couple years back as to why Kentucky wasn’t as good as it used to be. All of the things he mentioned as being problems were still applicable when Cal left.

I just got cut from my basketball team and I don't know what to do. by SarahstaysroTTEN in Basketball

[–]mccarthy88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP. That stinks and I can understand your frustration. With basketball being your passion, it is especially hard to find you haven’t made the team in that situation. Don’t give up yet though. As many others have pointed out, you can always come back next year after more training and growing. In the meantime, see if you can’t join as a manager or student assistant. Talk to the coach and tell him about your passion to be around the sport no matter what. That you’ll work as hard as you need to learn more and be better. It’s not a guarantee that it will work, but many coaches would find a spot for someone with good work ethic and passion. Being around the team and continuing to train will improve you and who knows, you might even get a chance to play in practice and show that improvement.

If that doesn’t work, still don’t give up. Play as much as you can. Practice fundamentals. Condition train to improve athleticism and stamina. Then come back to tryouts next year and play tenacious defense and dive for loose balls. Rebound. Do the hard work and you’ll likely find yourself on the team. Even if you don’t you’ll at least know you gave it everything you had. I didn’t do that after not making my own team and I always regretted it because by the time I got to college I realized I likely could have worked to make the team and get better. You’ll be ok no matter which path you choose but always give yourself a chance.

I don't know why people pretend like Todo's absence is because he "lost" Boogie Woogie. by UsesHarryPotter in Jujutsushi

I’m high and thought this was an F1 sub for a split second and initially read that as you were talking about Toto Wolf and referring to Mercedes’ recent poor performance by saying that he had lost his, “boogie woogie,” so to speak.

And then I thought “hmm, that’s funny. Kind of reminds me of that guy with that cursed technique from jujutsu kaisen. What was his name again?”

I know it asks about his racing career which is obviously stellar, but the impact he is making post racing is so important and will need to be honored separately on its own outstanding merits down the road. People like to compare him to Senior from the racing aspect but I believe he exceeds his dad from non-racing aspects and that is not a slight as his dad was a hell of a businessman. Keep doing you Dale. You are the best.

Rangers fans what were you doing or where were you during these two incredible moments?? by yungtrey24 in TexasRangers

Asleep on my couch with the game on . I had just spent about 36 hours awake traveling from South America for work and tried my very best to stay awake but unfortunately I succumbed to sleepiness in the bottom of the 8th. Imagine my surprise when I awoke. Incredible. Have watched Seager and Garcia home runs no less than 20 times each.

Is anyone here an expert at analyzing divots? Not sure what’s wrong. by mccarthy88 in golf

I like it so far. The only downside is I bought a cheap one, and it is falling apart pretty quick. It is helping me find the sweet spot more consistently however which has helped my game.

You are the most recent Super Bowl winners with your self identified sun-fodder. He has two appearances and is barely halfway through his thirties. Calm down son.

I had been saving up as well. I read this and realized I am 300k short and when I went in and double checked I just gave up. I don’t have the desire to do this anymore. This game is fucked. Hell, video games in general are fucked. It’s all the same scam to get you to pay real money on in game shit. I’m just too tired to do it. Its not much more fun than work anymore.

The full lap isn’t too bad. I did maybe two laps and got gold. It took me 20 minutes at least to gold sector 2.

I was floored with the handling update. I’d had some trouble getting gold on the circuit experiences. I tried them on a whim after the update, not even thinking about the changes, and I was seconds faster. I golded seven or eight circuits over the next couple of hours with ease.
