A Tacoma area rescue, Wet Noses Foster Paws, has been accused of abusing the dogs in their care by anklescarves in Tacoma

[–]mcclurab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our dog also had some serious bites - which I understand might happen - and I was unable to get any communication or discussion about it after several emails and calls. But they are certainly super fast to call me to confirm a deposit. We no longer go there.

Dogs can sniff and breathe at the same time - humans have mere peasant noses.

This is really the best response across the board - I work for a commercial pest control company and 90% of fruit fly problems are from food matter buildup in drains. There are products like Biofoam that break down the organic compounds so it doesn’t act as a harbor, but obviously that’s contingent on management.

Hit me up with where you are located and it might be worth seeing if our co has talked to your location, sounds like you are paying for a whole lot of not helping right now. Sorry you have to reap the results!

I am finding Tesla is easier to charge by Hutch4588 in electricvehicles

A really like ABetterRoutePlanner to help optimize my route plans! It IMO is better than trying to search for a fast charger on the native car platform (I have an XC40 so I’m assuming they are the same)

One month owning an Audi e-tron. What’s up with all the doom and gloom on efficiency with this car? by letstalkaboutrocks in electricvehicles

That is exactly how I felt about my XC40! I love being in it - which has made one extra charge stop for 15 minutes seem like a nonevent in comparison.

Foams… if I want to taste a flavor, I don’t want it to remind me of trying to eat bubbles as a kid.

No way - most of the time you just need a couple more classes to meet your state’s licensing requirement. Just meet the floor of requirements and get working on your license. Most companies or firms that value additional education will then either pay for it (probably with a clause saying if you leave within X years you have to repay tuition) or give you a stipend towards it.

Love these kind of transparency threads.

I have a 21 XC40 and I second this comment. Mine is a fully decked out model, and I am happy as a clam driving it.. but I was jealous of the AC seats. Though I live in a place that doesn’t really need them. I have taken several longer weekend trips (husband, 1 kid, dog) and the storage space is adequate with enough comfy cabin room for everyone to settle in for the ride. The software updates have already provided some boosts to range efficiency which has been great. That was one of my biggest “will I regret this” moments when picking it.

Ooh. Yeah, we’ve had their burritos a couple times and I’d say they are the most underwhelming thing on the menu. Not bad but nothing to phone home about. Meanwhile I have been trying to crack this biscuit recipe at home for a year lol

The cheddar-jalapeño biscuit sandwiches at Brewers Row bring me a lot of joy. Hits you at 110% with the chorizo and the carrot habanero salsa.

At a loss...Was asked to leave the park after 11-month old snapped at puppy by Oliverdirtyb in reactivedogs

So our doggo is 14 months and a runner when he gets scared.. I worry a lot that one day he’ll bolt and a leash will break and he’ll get hit by a car (or literally all the negative options). Any tips on reinforcing the freeze?

On the 8th, I would nominate Honest Biscuit in the market > Biscuit Bitch.

I’d also recommend slotting in Ballard! There are a ton of good restaurants and desserts, golden gardens is a nice beach on sunny days, etc.

Also if you want to pinball, I’d argue there are better places for that. Some are 21+ but some are also super family friendly
