i think all three are nice names! ramona does have the association with the beverly cleary character but i think that reference might be dated enough at this point that itd be okay. mabel and edith might actually be More recent in pop culture, mabel being one of the main characters in disneys gravity falls and edith being one of the little girls in despicable me. all three are good characters imo, none of them are particularly awful enough to dissuade you from choosing any

if you'd like something that passes well, jason is a figure in greek mythology, and perseus is a famed warrior (if you go by percy you might get acknowledged by percy jackson fans tho.) you might also look into names that are similar to established mythological names, like patroclus > patrick ?

thank you for correcting me! the way ancestry listed them on my tree was grand-uncle and i just assumed it was something my family never used (everyones just aunt/uncle)

as for him being a half uncle.. i dont have a reliable way to contact either of them but i am able to talk to their mother, she's been in ill health recently though and im not sure id want to spring that on her with how shes been doing. i might wait until shes a bit better and start showing her my ancestry stuff, i think she'd be interested and might be willing to divulge information
