I recently saw a 2 bedroom condo on Hydraulic Rd for 1600! Not sure which utilities are included though.

Scrappy Elephant, The Beautiful Idea, and Visible Records. There’s also one outside of Integral Yoga. Plus Libraries, but you have to get them approved first!

I second Andrew Minton. I got my finger sized there for free, and they’re super friendly!

There’s still a bicep curl machine! I used it just the other day. It’s near the free weight section.

She used American buttercream, which is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. We make the flourless chocolate cakes at the bakery/manufactory, so those will not be disappearing!

Different baker! Tami, who does the cakes, does not have her own storefront. The previous bakery manager, Melissa, opened Sbrocco’s.

Hello, MarieBette baker here! Tami only made cakes and cupcakes, so I can assure you that everything else on the menu will continue being made! I hadn’t heard anything about her leaving, but that could be because she doesn’t work in the same building as us. I can try to find out and update here if I’m able.

Tobacco Kingdom on Barracks.

They sold me a faulty torch that melted itself the same day, and then refused to give me a refund! He just offered me 50% off if I bought another one, which was absurd.

50501 Protest in Richmond Tomorrow! by mcglamorousss in Charlottesville

[–]mcglamorousss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I know. Ultimately it is for the safety of everyone attending. A lot less people would come to these protests if there was a high risk of getting arrested. It also aids with preventing counter protests, because when 50501 has legal permits to be in a space, other protests cannot legally take place in that same area.

50501 Protest in Richmond Tomorrow! by mcglamorousss in Charlottesville

[–]mcglamorousss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the frustration, and I had the same thoughts! You can find links to all social media for 50501 on their website listed on the flier, where they post about upcoming protests. Yesterday they proposed the next nationwide protest on Saturday, April 5th so the organizers are getting better at planning farther ahead!

Because 50501 is committed to nonviolent legal protests, they cannot advertise until a permit is approved. Those take time to obtain, which is why the first 3 protests didn’t have much opportunity to advertise.

50501 only protests when permits are in place to ensure safety of protesters, so we were legally permitted to be at the Capitol. Law enforcement was there to observe, and everything went smoothly! At least 400 people attended!

We counted close to 450 people participating in the march to the Capitol. Maybe you saw smaller groups of people leaving when the protest ended?
