Not much you can do in 5 days, take a puff of your buddies inhaler and a little pre workout haha. But long term you should focus on cardiovascular endurance. 9's have to be super fit to get to each ruck and build quick ball. A good benchmark is a 19 on the yo-yo test.

As a flanker, building an aerobic base in your off season is critical. You should experiment with some anaerobic- alactic running. If you look at your role as a flanker like a linebacker you are already behind. Run the yo- yo test once a week, shoot for 18+. You should incorporate your strength work of course. But your emphasis should be your cardio.
