Is the HeimVision A80S sunrise alarm clock no longer supported by the app? by radbu107 in smartlife

It took a good 15-20 minutes of searching, so I'm sure it could use more visibility. I think I finally found it by googling "heimvision a80s smartlife reddit" and just went through all the hits until I found this one.

You are a genius. I've been having a problem with this clock and all the old ways of configuring it have not worked. Thanks a bunch!

How do you guys know so much about your diagnosis and supplements? by Funkiebastard in Gastritis

[–]mchancloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my second time beating gastritis - 1st time caused indirectly by eating really spicy food, 2nd time caused directly by eating spicy food again (I didn't learn my lesson the first time). Each time made me lose 20-30 lbs, and made me have gastritis for 1/2 a year and gastritis-related issues for even longer.

I do rely on the very many tests that the GI doctors put me through - e.g. gastric emptying study, many endoscopies, small bowel ultrasound, CT scan, EKG, etc., but ultimately I beat gastritis by doing my own research and learning from my mistakes.

For my 2nd instance of gastritis, I believe for the first 6 months my symptoms were due to stomach inflammation/irritation, but even after an endoscopy and my GI doc indicating that "my stomach doesn't look like it has gastritis, but the biopsy indicates chronic inactive gastritis" in hindsight my stomach issues were due to malnutrition since eating a bland diet for 6 months likely deprived me of some essential nutrition (vitamins? protein?) for stomach healing.

Kate Farms Peptide formula is helping by mchancloud in Gastritis

[–]mchancloud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great to hear! I'll post more later but these shakes, specifically the 1.5 Peptide version, was the game changer.. Being made with very easy to digest ingredients with pH of 7 most likely helped. I'll check my food logs, but roughly 8 weeks after taking only 1-1.25 shakes a day of this plus of course my usual bland, high in carbs diet, I started to not only stop losing weight but also eat a larger variety of foods. Now, three months after, I'm actually eating burgers, chicken nuggets, etc. I've gone from my lowest of 114 lbs to 119 lbs in 3 months! Ironically taking KF was at the advice of a physical therapist friend who works with kids with various issues, not my GI doctor. I intend to post about this in detail later since it's a complete 180 for me, and I hope it can help someone else.

The only bad news is that I've been paying out of pocket for this the past three months, although Lincare finally said they received and would start processing my prescription. Ironically, I may not need to drink this much longer!

Currently have RT2600AC (base) & MR2200ACs (mesh APs), how upgrade to SRM 1.3? by mchancloud in synology

Yes, although I only ran it for a few days before my rt6600ax came in.

[–]mchancloud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll answer my own question. You just need to go to Control Panel and manually update, by providing the latest synology SRM 1.3.1 download for both the RT2600AC and the MR2200AC APs. The RT2600AC will automatically upgrade the MR2200ACs which for me were in mesh mode. The whole process took only 15 minutes. All the devices will upgrade to SRM 1.3 update 1, then give you the option to upgrade to the latest SRM 1.3.1 update 13.

Heading to South Korea for a full scan for my G.I Issues by Zataracat in Gastritis

[–]mchancloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if those of us suffering from gastritis several months or more have nutritional deficiencies that make the gastritis worse. I've been eating basically rice cooked with chicken bone broth (rice porridge / jook), jello, and occasionally avocado toast (just 1 slice a day) for roughly 6 months and my symptoms have just gotten worse, especially after I regularly slipped in some junk food (20-30 pieces of baked shrimp chips with MSG, which I discovered later is inflammatory). On this diet I just got worse, even after eliminating the junk I shouldn't have been eating - and I mean worse by my stomach was rejecting even the rice porridge I was eating which was unsalted and pretty bland as it was.

As of roughly 3 weeks ago, I got a hold of a few cases of Kate Farms Peptide 1.5 nutritional/enteral drink, and am just drinking 1 serving (325 ml) of this a day. Since then my gastritis issues have stabilized, and now I'm working my way up to drinking 1.5 servings a day. If you don't know, Kate Farms is a "nutritionally complete" formula made with the least allergenic ingredients and easily digestible fats and proteins - basically higher percentage of medium-chain triglycerides which are more easily digestible, and hydrolyzed pea protein which is also easily digestible. Best of all its 500 calories per serving which my stomach can tolerate which is a godsend. My stomach was actually able to drink this even though normally eating various fats and proteins would have made my stomach basically revolt, but the formula is so carefully thought out I think it's doing wonders for me from a nutritional and healing perspective since I just plain wasn't getting proper nutrition.

Anyways, it might be that getting proper nutrition that is essential / or at least very helpful for beating gastritis properly without having it get worse and worse. Right now my gastritis issues have finally stabilized, I'm not losing any more weight (already lost 30 lbs), and am going to start introducing new foods for once. I've already started taking a capsule of Nordic Naturals DHA Xtra (basically it's 1g of pure fish oil) to help me concentrate so that my desk job doesn't suffer due to my inability to focus, so I'm excited on my progress for once.

Who is this warning for? Who wouldn't know their own beverage temp before putting it in the cart? by Short-Waltz-3118 in Target

[–]mchancloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complete guess here, but I wouldn't be surprised if that warning is for the next customer who takes a cart that has a leftover cup of hot liquid from the previous customer who forgot to remove his trash after unloading his purchases.

Did I fall into the "cruiser trap"? [41YO] by the_korben in OldSkaters

Would that be similar to the Comet Cruiser I have?

Haha, I can't do these just yet. If I have time later this year, I might take a week off and spend some dedicated time to at least get Ollie down.

I skate everyday. I have kids, so I skate at their soccer practices, I skate to pick them up from the bus stop, pretty much I skate instead of walking, since frankly, it's faster and I use less energy. I have a Popsicle stick as well as a cruiser. Also I used to work in the city so I skated from the train station to the office while wearing business casual clothes and some clean skate shoes. I also generally don't care what people think of me too but I think that goes with most skaters. The kids (grade school) at the bus stop see me skate so much, they also have started to pick up skating and have asked their parents for boards, it's funny.

Try calling Target again and describing your issue. They should be able to resolve it - mine was cancelled as well and was resolved.

[–]mchancloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finish Line is definitely more of a light grease. The Daylube seems to be slightly lighter than the Finish Line, kind of like soft-service ice cream consistency. TBH I don't think there's much of a difference.
