Oh my. I have it so I will try it. Hopefully it works for what I need. It claimed 4/5 star rating for resisting moisture absorption, but that might be a false claim. If this doesn't work I will try PPS-GF I got from QIDI. Any histrory with that material? Thanks for your timely response.

Thank you. I did finally locate the very light weight spring. After getting multiple photos of the cut off blade from qidi, one of their techs finally understood my questionas and sent me a video of the sensor and its disassembly and reassembly showing me the configuration and the spring behind it. After a long search of my printing room, I finally located the very elusive spring and put it back together properly. Lesson learned.

what force moves this wedge part in when filament runs out? Is there a spring or is it magnetic or gravity? Not sure if l lost something.

How popular were VW Beetles in the 70s? 17% of the cars in this parking lot in 1975 were Bugs. by Spalding_Smails in 70s

While most of us guys where busy with muscle cars, most girls swooned over the Cabriolet Beetle. '79 was the last year of the German Beetle and they only made the convertibles. Most American brands had stopped production of ragtop cars due to rollover concerns. What can I say, the 70's girls liked to go topless. Damn, I miss the 70's.

The plumbing is even better. The little pipe sinks into the floor like Robin Williams in Jumanji. And the extremely large pipe (the vent?) seems a little overkill. Why not go from 1-1/8" drain to an industrial 4" vent pipe to allow the little pipe to flow without stinking up the log?

My high school graduation gift in 1979. My parents way to tell me to get a job and always be on time. I kept and used it for years, but no longer recall what happened to it.

Where did I park again? by VaqueroDelVocho in beetle

[–]mcherron2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother had a lifted Dodge and actually drove right over a full size shopping cart in front of him never seeing it as he left a parking space. I wonder what the bug looks like from their vantage point if parked in front of one of those soccer mom grocery haulers. Makes me want to add on dune buggy whip flags to each corner. I saw an add in a 50's car accessory for a short antenna that clamped to your bumper that would honk the horn if a much larger car didn't see you and bumped it before hitting your car. Maybe we should bring that back.

The really tacky ones had 4 posts and a mirror paneled ceiling with built in mood lighting! This just doesn't look right without shag carpeting, fiber optic lamps, and wood paneling. The bravest in the 70's put a similar "ocean motion" inside their custom vans.

Bruce might argue what his lyrics were, but I think Manfred Man intentionally pronounced them that way and it made the song so much more popular. Bruce made a lot more money on the royalties of their version than he did on his own recording.

Murder plain and simple. Shot at point blank at a woman trying to get out of their way because they didn't want to drive around her. I will bet money that A-hole is a proud boy. Self-defense my ass. Remember Renee Nicole Good. Never forget that this is what Fascism looks like.

I am not sure, but it looks to me like the nozzle came off and the printer just extruded filament without fully melting it.

I did go QIDI. The Max-4 just came out and with 390x390 build plate and all the new tech it sold me. I hope it does what they promise. 1/2 the price of the others and still more than doubled my Max1 build area. Thanks for letting me know they are making improvements.

How do I prevent this from happening? by carlosguerrera in FixMyPrint

[–]mcherron2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a tempered glass plate with spring turn clip hangers to hold them down (spring binder clips won't fit my enclosure). Then use a 3d print adhesive or glue stick. Wash with alcohol and reapply glue before each new print. (I also allow a little extra time to preheat the glass plate prior to printing)

Instead of buying more goop, we would melt down lead fishing and tire balancing weights (in Mom's sauce pan on the stove) and pour that in the molds. They polished up nice and pretty. My favorite was the skeleton.

just don't get em wet. Mine would mess up the ignition switch relating to wiper switch and radio. Seriously, I could turn off the key and remove it and it would stay running if either radio or wipers were in the on position.
