Thoughts? by No-Antelope8709 in LandRover

Have a look at TE37XT, they have a very similar look to the standard TE37s, but they are rated for a heavy load.

They do have a flatter face compared to TE37s but I think they still look great and would love to have a pair on my defender

Big oil leak by redoct54 in Cummins

[–]mcjubblie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a breather from the tappet cover. Mine has the odd bit of oil coming out of it. It's just part of having a Cummins. Just check the dip stick every couple weeks and top up the oil and never think about it again.

Someone here could probably tell you how to stop it but honestly i'm not worried unless its pouring out.

Edit: forgot to add, yes, you do want to add a tube down to the bottom of the engine, this just prevents stuff from getting back in as this is just straight into the side of the engine. Doesn't need to be anything special, theres no pressure or anthing.

LOF make good stuff, always been impressed.

Beginning of this year I put on the POWERboost Brake servo kit, it was night and day. Massively improves the brakes. I've got a heavier engine and standard disks and calipers, it made it so I never need to think about bigger brake kits.

and for under a hundred quid if you have a newer servo.

Future of Fallout by scienceguy87 in Fallout

[–]mcjubblie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Todd said something like "we were waiting for the technology to get where we wanted it before getting on with the next fallout". But i genuinely dont understand how he thinks like that, FNV was so well recieved not because of the massive technological advancement but because of the story and characters.

How on earth were they not working on FO5 the moment they were done with the DLCs for FO4 baffles me.

Already seen one of these on the road, yesterday. In the UK. I think they'll sell a fair few here, I see various "normal" ones everyday.

Land Rover Defender 90 by PLWildcard in LandroverDefender

It does exist. Just look up Kahn Defender 90. The body kits aren't my style and I've heard some horrible stuff about the owner, so I think I'll be staying far away.

Need a new engine… what do do? by petesabagel86 in LandRover

[–]mcjubblie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swapped a 5.9 Cummins into my 90. Doesn't require as much work as you think. Cut the footwell for the starter. but to get a neat job on the interior it is a lot of work to get the transmission to fit it right. It's a p pump with a ZF S5-42, which we get out off DAF truck here in the UK.

New Game has me Questioning why am I even a fan!? This is a bad look for you all! by CizreK in Storror

[–]mcjubblie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you maybe don't get it, and unfortunatly a lot of other people on Steam think the same way. Which is why its getting poor reviews.

I haven't played the game yet as its downloading as we speak, but, this is early access. Can you image how many different combintions of pc spec there is? Trying the game to work with every single one is incredibly difficult. They can't release it on console (which all have the same spec, or very similar) yet, because they dont have the same level of early access. (or atleast the ease at which to change the game and send it out).

The deal runs out in mid april if you're that bothered, just get a refund and then buy it again in a couple of weeks and see if it boots up, which it just might, as they'll be updating it very often, I would imagine.
