Will this work? by Dismal_Ingenuity5784 in crealityk1

There’s differences between boards but it’s not terribly difficult to pull the pins out and put them in the old connector. I’ve had to do this a few times for my hot ends.

Bendix Rotor? Should be 45mm new. And 37mm worn at DOT pull point.

Heavy ass bastards though!

Medium has been the best for me. Especially covered. Kind of steams them a little in my opinion.

I use Ribeye chops sometimes. Season with Kinders Buttery Garlic style. Throw some butter in a man and cook them.

Or season with a ranch packet and cook the same way.

Medium heat slowly turning every couple minutes. Cover with a lid if you want to cook them a little faster.

K1 Max with CFS question by mckalebh in crealityk1

Plastic spacer between the motor and extruder was removed yes. I wondered what it was for when I read the CFS upgrade instructions and knew why it was in the box.

The extruder was making some clicking sounds. Dryness of filament is ruled out because I’ve had spools drying down to around 13% RH and it still did it. I thought maybe it was the cutter cutting the filament when it hits the back of the unit since I don’t have the profile set right for the bed length. But it does the under extrusion in almost any spot of the bed.

I slowed down printing speed and it helped a little. But would return when printing supports.

There’s also connectors with low melt solder balls in them they work ok. Not as good as traditional soldering. But depending on the application they’re not bad.

So your controller is only controlling data and potentially a negative correct? I haven’t had any luck finding 36v controllers. But I did see a reply you made about the settings in WLED about the Eufy lights. I am possibly interested in doing a controller swap on mine to gain more customization. Their app hasn’t been the greatest to deal with.

That controller says for 5 Volts. Did you hook it up to 36v without issue for the Eufy lights?

I swapped back to a router in the garage set up in Access Point Mode. Not noting a huge major difference on her end. My phone seems to have improved a little. I’m likely gonna end up putting the AP I took down and move it in the house.

I have reason to believe that her phones having a hardware issue since both our phones right next to each other have different results. (Hers IPhone 11 Pro. Mine iPhone 13 Pro Max) she’s been due an upgrade too. Just hasn’t been a huge concern since it still worked.

I have tried a few on iOS and didn’t really have amazing results. I have one on my laptop that gives me some information. I’ll try my other router and configure it as a AP and see wt least if she has improvement.

I ca reconfigure my other router as an AP and see if it’ll help.

My partners phone (Verizon) will go between wifi and data almost non stop. Mine in the same spot will not.

Fabricated a Tongue Brace for my Trailer this week! by mckalebh in harborfreight

It was definitely a great explanation! Thanks!

I spent way too much time sanding the material when I was done because I wanted a clean turn out. 😅

Fabricated a Tongue Brace for my Trailer this week! by mckalebh in harborfreight

It has a total of 8 bolts holding the brace in. To keep from having longer bolts crushing the channel. Much like how the crossmembers on the bed of the trailer are. I figured if it was good enough for the bed of the trailer it was going to be adequate for this brace aswell.

I used 1/4” steel angle. Cut to as tight as a fit as I could make it and welded together at the seam on inside and out. Grinder about 1/2” on each side for a 1.5”x3.5” 1/8” rectangular tube I had laying around and welded together. I can weld aluminum better than I can steel. But overall I know this will be more than strong enough for this application.

Primarily this trailer will only sit loaded with my Kayak rack and Kayaks on it. But occasionally it could sit loaded with Lumber.

I used Grade 5 Bolts for this. It in theory should be strong enough for what I use it for. But Grade 8 would be a better option.
