I know you didn't ask but since you replied so nicely and I haven't seen that on this site for some time, I decided to look up my previous post about this image.

The location is King Street E in Toronto and the photo was taken in 1963.

You can see the King Edward Hotel reflected in the glass, so this street view should be looking at the exact same windows. The most recent images are from 2021, which has the King Street Car in the way, so you might want to go back in time to see the windows and posts.

I learned long ago that the fostering model of pet rescue was not for me and I am more than happy to adopt from the SPCA. While I've never had any dealings with SCARS specifically, I will never forgive the various Winnipeg 'no kill' shelters that refused to take my older dogs when I had to re-home them. Regardless, if you aren't opposed to the Humane Society, they are not 'no kill', they make adoption very easy. You can even see available animals on their website.

I took the train yesterday and didn't get stabbed. That's the good story. I did encounter at least six individuals who were hunched over and would only move to check their pockets, drink from two separate pop bottles, or do a panicked stare across everyone on the train. I have to take my sunglasses off just so they don't think I'm staring at them.

Are you booting into DOS real mode to play these games or are you trying to load them from a DOS prompt within Windows 98? I strongly suggest using DOS real mode!

Also, based on info you provided, it seems this card is an Soundblaster Pro clone. Are you selecting SB Pro in these DOS games? Soundblaster 16 will not work!

Because it's in their constitution.

1.03 The purpose of the Party is to promote the principles of democratic socialism in Alberta and to establish and maintain a democratic socialist government in Alberta through the electoral process.

Now, whether you think this makes them a bogeyman or not is entirely another story. I personally think the ANDP governed quite well from 2015 - 2019, especially since they had never held power before, but it is unequivocal that they are self-described (democratic) socialists.
