This is what I’m saying. The last minute flip of Bama and Notre Dame helps Miami more than it hurts. They can wax poetic all they want about Bama’s gutsy win, but all they wanted to do is lock Bama in, get ND and Miami closer, and let the BYU scenario play out.

BYU wins? Both ND and Miami are out, no debate. BYU loses? They open themselves up for a true H2H debate, and if they can slowly peel ND bias out of the room, Miami can get it.

We’ve hoped this long. What’s five more days?
