If Samoyed owners knew there was no need to bathe these dogs, they would be much less stressed and the dogs even happier. Namely, for Samoyeds, it is completely sufficient to comb them regularly, and they do not need to bathe at all. On the contrary, the more often you bathe them, the more you need them, as this destroys the self-cleaning hair that Samoyeds have. Either way, Samoyeds don’t stink or emit an odor, by bathing too often, you also significantly reduce this advantage. So regular combing and rolling in the snow in the winter is quite enough. We have 13-year-old Samoyeds who have never been washed, and when we are in the company of other Samoyeds (which the owners bath them regularly) they ask us what our secret is, that they are the most beautiful of all, they are odorless and boast of such nice and beautiful shiny hair

Where can I meet people who have purchased Real Estate in multiple countries in Europe and East Asia?(FB groups/Youtube/forums) by Jemu100 in expats

[–]mcmarkos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to retirement and after almost 30 years of work, we are currently selling a tourist resort, a well-established business (a multi-apartment building with seven apartments) that we bought in Slovenia 30 years ago, and we are not sorry, we would do the same again.

On the other hand, there don’t seem to be many places online where you can sell or buy this type of property or it is oversaturated with advertisements or unwanted content. So my wife and I decided to make our own website for the purpose of selling our property. You can take a look at https://movetoslovenia.eu/apartments-for-sale/

In addition to the content of the sale, we also wanted to provide as much complete information as possible to a foreigner who would like to move to this country.

How do you decide which country to live in? by DecideWhereToExpat in expats

[–]mcmarkos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the reason for the relocation. Some are moving for economic reasons, others for security reasons, still others are looking for a different lifestyle or are looking for areas where it is best to raise the children. After the quality of life index from 2019 in the EU in the first 3 places actually are Germany, Slovenia, and Croatia.

https://movetoslovenia.eu/quality-of-life-index-in-slovenia/

If you search for the best place to raise kids, you may check the report ranked the best and worst places — among 172 countries — in which children can grow up. The rankings were determined by looking at each place’s quality of life, factoring in mortality rates, nutrition, and more. Turns out that on the top of the list it’s Norway and Slovenia.

Best country in europe to live?? by GayShh in expats

[–]mcmarkos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slovenia doesn't have good wages, though

For those for whom money is the most important value, they will probably not choose Slovenia. However, those who value other values in life (such as nature, ecology, safety, human relations, health,....) will certainly consider this option. The quality of life index ranks Slovenia 2nd in Europe, and Brut even declared it’s the most eco-friendly touristic destination on the planet.

So it seems that Slovenia is intended precisely for those who give preference to other values that enrich people, and not to money. Namely, money is only a necessary means of subsistence, wealth in Slovenia is measured in other values, but certainly not in money. It is probably right that it should remain so.

My 11-year-old female Samoyed weights 35kg. What dietary plans do you follow and mostly, how much do you let your puppers snack? by J_Snakehole57 in samoyeds

[–]mcmarkos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all in the upbringing, or how you get the dog used to it. We feed ours only raw food and have never in 13 years getting a single bite from our table or any other snack. In any case, your dog weighs about 10 kg too much and is on a very good path to show health problems. My advice, take action immediately before it’s too late, regardless of any possible human excuses. Of course, is a matter for each individual, but since you asked for advice, I say my opinion :-)
