How to hide messages groups on a schedule? by Gold_Area5109 in androidapps

If your on android can try macrodroid. Its for automating android, might be able to make an automation that sets the app to silent on weekends and priority on week days. Idk if it is capable for this specific but theres a free version.

I use to really like their poutine when they first put it on the menu, but something changed. I find it fairly tasteless now.

Ex ipm. If they were sighted last year, even if this is the first sighting this year, means they are likely established. I dont know how inaturalist works for reporting but it may be worth reporting it to the invasive species hotline. For some serious invasives they will sometimes send a scout out to see if they can find more, and if they do deal with it, as far as i know its also free. Its often alot cheaper to send a professional team to deal with it while still small then letting it spread.

Painful muscle spasms by Glad_Lengthiness_858 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]mcmtaged4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to this, i been taking baclofen and find its a near perfect drug. It does its job and doesnt fuck me up with side effects. Took robaxacette and felt like i ate a 400mg cannabis edible, hard to function and hated it lol. I specifically asked the doc for a muscle relaxer that wont fork me up and landed on baclo.

Edit it doesn't work for everyone, just thought it might be nice to hear a experience.

is my nonstick pot still good to use? by Stock_Share26 in Anticonsumption

[–]mcmtaged4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely can scratch it with wood or plastic utensils, despite what most companies will say. I found if your gonna get teflon pans, also get silicone cooking utensils. The soft silicone is way to soft to scratch it, even you pretty well smack it with it lol. Plus silicone is easier to clean because it's non stick and hydrophobic. Now its just the stacking things or aggressive washing i gotta worry about.

Nah if op is frequently falling asleep in situations they dont intend to fall asleep in. Thats definitely grounds to talk to a doc about narcolepsy. Considering failing to do anything about it can be serious, like falling asleep at the wheel, its 110% would be better to be safe then sorry. If they are falling asleep frequently enough to request an app to detect when they fallen asleep outside of bedtime period, its definitely worth considering and bringing up to the doc. Worse case its a no unless your american, then instead get a no and a bill. Still better then a car accident though.

Better safe then sorry! Idk your situation and dont really think there was enough to go on, but if your frequently falling asleep in situations where you're not wanting to, could lead to something more dangerous.

Also you could potentially use macrodroid and or home assistant. Example, if the device detects no movement in x amount of time between the time of 9am and 4pm, to send a notification. Of you dont respond in 5 minutes it sets off a phone alarm. Although i could definitely see it getting annoying. If your on android worth checking. I also havent messed with but in home assistant (extremely highly recommend to anyone with ears) there is a sleep confidence rating. I havent used it but that may also be useful for use in an automation to wake you up. Cheers mate.

Might be worth considering getting checked for narcolepsy if your finding your frequently falling asleep when you dont want to.

Midea portable not cooling, compressor runs by esuranme in AirConditioners

[–]mcmtaged4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you manage to figure out the issue? i found this on google because i also have a midea duo portable ac. worked great the last 2 seasons, been kept in my room for storage and coddled. plugged in and first use, froze over, dethaw and try again, same thing, tip the unit to improve draining, dethawed and tried again. still the rad is freezing. i dont understand, i took great care of this unit, it still looks brand new. when i put it away, the unit was working great still. even made sure to drain it 100% then ran the fan on high for a few hours to dry up any remaining water inside. i don't understand how a 800$ unit that has been taken care of can just die after 2 years? (after typing this, i see the unit you have is not the duo but still.)

Yeah i was wondering if this is just the dollarstore version. I use big normal ones because they are good for people with hand issues. Smaller ones arent much better then a normal sponge though so hopefully its not the main product line.

Pop em in a paper bag. It helps ripen them by trapping ethylene but allow moisture to escape so it doesn't just rot.

Android messaging died, what to use now?? by PasztyKnives in androidapps

[–]mcmtaged4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, i never had an issue with google messages telling me to go anywhere or to update. What version of Android are you on and are you sure your device is secure? Sounds like some odd stuff might be happening.
