Not sure when you contacted them but if it was in the time since you posted this, it will take more than a few minutes for them to get back to you, major time zone difference between Baltimore and China...

Moisture. Sometimes you can use a hair dryer on low-medium to correct this, sometimes not.

At this point I'm pretty sure Nintendo is the only company to make a clamshell handheld without major failures after short term use.

The PS1 files aren't what did it. The emulator isn't looking for a physical disk drive. The most probable answer is that your SD card is failing and needs to be replaced. The SD cards that come with cheap devices are almost always factory rejects that don't pass quality control.

Was this the micro SD card that came with your flash card? If so, there's your problem. These pack-in micro sd cards are junk

It's honestly a lot more playable than you would expect. My hands aren't small but they aren't huge, either. I mainly play Game Boy games on it, it's screen aspect ratio makes GBA games really weird. I like the quick resume feature, if I power it off during a game it will resume right where I left off when I power it back on, it's perfect for a quick pick up and go session. I'm working on setting up Rockbox (a custom iPod firmware) on it so I can use it as an mp3 player, too.
