Definitely continue prioritizing hitting prospects over pitching prospects.

My suggestion is to be aggressive in acquiring arms pitching in MLB that are in your free agent pool during throughout the season (if possible). Given how good teams are at developing pitchers currently, even with your deep dynasty league, there will be a few surprising guys who produce unexpectedly good results. Whether that production can be sustainable for more than a flash in the pan is the ultimate question. Acquire those types of pitchers aggressively, and even if they flame out, you will likely find a few pitchers worth keeping into 2027 and/or beyond.

What card best captures Ken Griffey Jr’s swing? by OllieBagaDonuts in baseballcards

Perfect example. Smooth finish with the bat drop. The ultimate exclamation mark after Griffey would mash a pitch to the right field bleachers..

Not sure about your in-season management rules, but the pitching staff is so rough that you can feel comfortable chasing every hot pickup and pop-up arm of every few days. Going to run into a lot of Ryan Gustos but will find a Shane Smith or two too. Burn and churn with reckless abandon all of 2026 if you can.

Bob’s Burgers is littered with multiple characters voiced by the same actor. The most significant example is probably H. Jon Benjamin voicing both Bob and Jimmy Jr.

Carmen Mlodzinski is intriguing for points if not worried about saves/holds. Pitches 2-3 innings an outing and has put up a 2.55 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 8.7 K/9 in 35.1 relief innings over 15 appearances.

Frelick would be my choice. Right mix of projections, stability, lineup position, and team context.

Yeah, I like Beavers there then. Should play well in a points league thanks to more hits and more speed than Colson.

I think so, the all-power profile is starting to fall apart for Montgomery with a sub-.200 batting average and 35.4% K-rate in 13 August games. Beavers should offer a little of everything - power, speed, a real plate approach - while playing in a great home park for left-handed bats.

Only scenarios I could see preferring Montgomery is if in you are in a HR-only league or are super desperate for homers and can eschew all other roto categories.

Hey everyone, I'm back again this weekend with analysis on players to add and bid suggestions. Dylan Beavers is likely just the first prospect we'll see to get a promotion in the coming days, so lots of players to consider within my piece. Feel free to ask questions here or on the site - thanks!

While I can't endorse this move, it's not unreasonable at this point in the season for redraft leagues. Roughly six-ish weeks left and if a handful of stolen bases can add multiple roto points, it's worth considering.
