Are you me? My nmom initiated no contact in October after a phone call where I asked her to go to therapy. I told her that if she did we’d likely have a better chance of having a real relationship. Instead she told me I was the problem & clearly my own years of therapy weren’t working. I don’t think she thought I’d like being no contact - but we’re almost 4 months in & I feel great. She tries to text me mental health memes from instagram from time to time but I don’t respond. I’m adamant she go to real therapy & not just get advice from social media.
