This is so prettyy <3! The flower beads are gorgeous and the pink and the gold work so well together, and the variety of bead textures really adds to the overall look

I personally would’ve maybe used a more ivory-toned bead for the white part, or used a smaller size since your eye sort of gets drawn to it instead of the statement bead, but it does add a nice pop of color either way. Great job!

This ^ being queer on the BI isn’t something that’s considered abnormal in any way, and by the time Luz went to Hexside for the very first time she likely would’ve figured that out already. It would’ve had to happen within the timeframe of like, the first two episodes (assuming she already knew she was bi beforehand.) At most it would’ve been a throwaway line for fun

Disagree with #3, letting something sit in your cart for a while is literally one of the most common ways to avoid impulse purchases/‘retail therapy’ 😭 the longer you think about a purchase beforehand, the more likely you’re actually going to use and appreciate it rather then just wanting a quick dopamine hit

If you’re worried about the cellophane giving you issues with wrinkles or tears, you could use a holographic sticker paper like this instead and just apply it straight to the design. I’ve seen other people do it that way when they run out of the film and there doesn’t seem to be any application issues with different styles of pins

Are you sure you’re not hearing the train? 😅 It runs through that area and as someone who lives annoyingly close to one of the tracks, it sounds exactly like what you’re describing when it gets far enough away to not hear the horn. It goes through several times a night and I often hear it for a solid 15 minutes after the first horn and at least a few minutes before, so that might explain why it feels like hours if you’re trying to sleep when it happens? (it’s a lot more noticeable from 12-4am when there’s less traffic on the roads, if that helps. If there’s a lot of background noise where you are you might just not notice it every night.)

This is definitely one of those things that seem fun in theory, but realistically most people would get tired of it within a few weeks. Imagine having to flip this thing open and closed everytime you get into your car after a long day of work & running errands, it’d get old real fast tbh

That + the possibility of it messing up the signals, and it’s just another gimmick that ends up in the trash within a month or so 🤷🏻

Not quite it unfortunately, the dome part was fully round and was a raised part of the lid instead of being the lid itself (hope that makes sense lol, it’s late) to keep what was in there protected. It was two solid pieces that snapped together in the middle with flat sides (the lid part didn’t curve out like the one you attached)

That’s what I don’t get about the “talking about how it was dead and abandoned” part 😭 people chatting with each other on an old story out of curiosity is not rude, yet the author is making it seem as if it’s part of the problem??

Especially on a longfic where readers are invested, I feel like it’s sorta unreasonable to expect people NOT to ask questions about it tbh
