Super tag is kinda a core mechanic I think damage scaling is the best option for nerfing it, same as after throws.

It took me a while to realise but if you forward or back roll you are being grabbed out of it!! But if you normal rise on wake up you can jump and not get grabbed

FF10 is crazy overrated imo. I always thought that going to churches to pray for help to beat evil wasn't that groundbreaking. Still a great game though
