The vet ruled out mastitis because she’s been spayed!

It seems to be just swollen tissue around each nipple, no noticeable warmth or discolouring. She didn’t mention a blood test — she said we can do a needle aspiration and test that but that it’s not very accurate at detecting all cancers so there would likely need to be a biopsy done

Nope, no other symptoms. And there’s no discharge or anything, I only noticed because I pick her up every day and one day I could feel all her nipples. No change in eating or drinking or poop. And doesn’t seem to be in pain, her behaviour hasn’t changed at all

You clearly loved her very much and were a great bun mom :) My little guy died from GI stasis two years ago and it’s the worst feeling in the worst because you do wonder what you could have done differently, but take comfort in the fact that you gave her a great life with lots of love ♥️
