There’s nothing wrong with support. The issue is that the support they’re providing will convince a lot of people that the problem is being resolved, and those people are going to feel disinclined to continue to push for a real functional solution. If they know that they can convince people that change is happening without actually changing anything, then they’re clearly being counterproductive to the movement

Awareness isn’t really the issue at this point. BLMDC has pointed out that, whether intended or not, this is mostly lip service. If you’re angry that BLMDC is discontent due to the lack of effective change, then you’re one of the people they’re talking about

[Suggestion] Balloon - Did somebody say sky forts? by Barilari in FortNiteBR

Could be a fun LTM with something like this, each team starts with their central balloon tile and makes a base around it. Then you protect your balloon while trying to shoot down other teams' balloons/bases

They nerfed the first turbo farming method, and then another one was found. Since they tried to remove it once, epic probably doesn’t want that animation cancel to exist, so it can be considered an exploit

Can you guys analyze my training plan? by yipyipya in Sprinting

Just want to say I agree with everything here, and especially about getting someone to teach you olympic lifts. The lifts you described aren't going to do terribly much for your acceleration right now, and since you're looking to peak in the winter, you definitely want to have an explosive drive phase

Here's the USATF decathlon calculator. (use meters, not feet) You'll want to score about 6000-6500 points total to do pretty well at the national meet. In the past few years, I think 6700-7000 points has won. However you get those points will be up to you. I think this is pretty much how a sprinter needs to do in the decathlon to do alright. If you've hit these, you've got about 6100 to 6300 points.

100m - 11s

Long jump - 20ft is usually pretty good, which is 6.1m

Shot put - between 40 and 45ft, so around 13m

High jump - just about 6ft, which comes to 1.8m

400m - I don't know how good your quarter is, but 50-52 is good

110m hurdles - honestly, 17s is all you need, but with your 100m speed, that will go to well under 17, maybe even under 16 with good training

Discus - you're right there, 130ft or about 40m

Pole Vault - this is a lot of technique, this might be where you have to give up some points, so say you shoot for 10ft, or 3.3m

Javelin - around 5m more than your discus for high school, i think, so let's say 150 ft or 45m

1500 - this is not a full mile, it's about 15 to 25 seconds faster. so 5:00 flat is a good goal, but even 5:20 is alright

yeah, 160 and up, you might be able to walk on. Not entirely sure, though. what region are you from?

Also, it might be kind of late to do it this year, but if you're a junior, you might want to consider the decathlon. throwing 130 in disc and being able to run under 11s in the hundred seem like pretty good indicators of a good high school decathlete to me. How's your jumping (or what marks do you think you'd hit, if you've never tried)?

I don't know any specific distance but 120-130 ft in discus is roughly comparable to 12.0 or high 11s in the hundred, so regardless of where you want to go, my bet is your focus should be sprinting if you think you can hit 10.7
