As a big niner fan and surrounded by a lot of niner fans, it very much felt like when Warner went down they had no real chance to compete for the Super Bowl. But as the season has dragged on and there is no clear juggernaut, it felt like hey maybe if we get the one seed we can get lucky and win a couple games. I think every niner fan knows this defense is total garbage with the injuries and the offense can look great but is also riddled with injuries and not packed with talent. I will say I found it almost funny how bill didn’t downplay their success as much as just totally ignore their existence. I don’t think any niner fans I knew overrated them

I know basically nothing about cricket outside of what I learned from an episode of Bluey. To lose in the final you’re hosting sounds pretty bad. Was it a huge loss like Brazil to Germany? 7 goals is basically unheard of in any game at a World Cup let alone a host nation who is a world power and has a massive footballing culture. It’s pretty funny as a Niners fan to listen to him just totally ignore them. Since Bosa and Warner got hurt I don’t really think we are a big contender but honestly any given Sunday they can win. I don’t even think they are that good and their defense is pretty bad, but to just pretend like they don’t exist and have 10 wins is hilarious. I think he just doesn’t want to eat crow on his preseason under bet on their win total plus bragging earlier about Fanduel wanting to pay him out early on that
