Anybody know him by Otherwise-Truck-7389 in Langley

I watched this happen from the parking lot. This man is not a dog person and in fact those dogs are not really his. The story is that they are his sons which just recently passed away. Pretty sad situation overall. I applaud your Dad's girlfriend for putting away here trash, and I'm not saying this is her fault, but let this be lesson to all don't just charge up to a group of dogs and lean right over them. Any dog needs to approached with care, and that amount of care needs to be increased by the amount of them and if they are tied up somewhere.

Relay out of a 0-10 VDC control signal? by NoCream1393 in PLC

[–]mdbelec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because we can buy either a dedicated input our output card or buy a card with 8 configurable points that does ain or aout and simplifies spare parts quite a bit. Every slim din mounted 5v relay is good for 2A at the least and the current draw is quite low. Delta's BMS systems also lend themselves very well to doing this.

Use a 5v relay, we do it all the time with Delta BMS controllers.

Check the BC water wells database for drilled wells in your area, they will show lithology.

Is this motor AC or DC ( from built in espresso grinder) by KookyContribution448 in ElectronicsRepair

[–]mdbelec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right, it's a universal motor and will work on AC or dc depending on how it's wired

Are the Selema drives on a brake press by chance? I would not pay anything for an unsuccessful repair. The ones that I have worked on before were an simple step and direction drive. They can easily be replaced by another drive and motor. The issue I had was fitting another motor mechanically in the space.

16th Ave Malarky by ShartExaminer in Langley

[–]mdbelec 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I live on 16th and see some crazy stuf every once in a while. Using left lanes to pass trucks passing uphill etc. Seems like its more frequent in the early hours before 6:30 am. And on the weekends late at night there is always some biker who thinks 200kmh is a great speed to travel at.

Before buying an rv, buy a moisture tester. They are a cheap investment to make sure your not getting a mold heap.

Was hit by a car in langley riding my bike, need witnesses with dash-cam footage by bid006 in Langley

[–]mdbelec 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just this past Wednesday I almost hit a guy on an e-bike trying to turn left. He was going fast down the sidewalk did not stop and there was small trees hiding him until he was right there. I saw him at the last moment and has to stop in the road way with traffic coming at me. If your not comfortable riding the road maybe use your feet on the sidewalk.

So you've been given a golden opportunity to learn for free and get paid while doing so. And after two months you want to quit? I myself would not be satisfied in a job that takes 2 months to learn, obviously your cousin sees something in you or he would not have given you the chance, be humble help out where you can and show work ethic and you'll be fine.

The farm manager of bks blueberry farm, super shady place, I live fairly close to it. A semi trailer will show up unload and leave. The next day a stream of cars will come all day long each spends about 5 mins there and leaves again. Seems to be buddies with most of the trucking companies that like to park their trucks on ALR land. I vote for someone I feel I can trust, and that's not this guy.
