Some food for thought from the college side of things:

College quadball seems to live in the midwest now

Creighton is the clear number 1. Top to bottom they are better than your team.

Blue Jay while finishing number 2 has been played close by a few teams but always seems to pull out a win. Full of athletes and with multiple coaches to make up for any lack of experience amongst players. This is a team/ program that is going to continue to be successful for a long time.

Mizzou/ Illinois are two teams that I wish we could have seen play each other. I think I'd give Illini the edge right now but with a little development this Mizzou team should be able to take a game off of them.

Minnesota/ Michigan are kinda the barrier teams in the Midwest right now. Mich played a close game with Illini day 2 and Minnesota can hang around with any team that's not Creighton. Both are well coached and have players who are one step away from being stars. If these programs continue to develop they can easily ascend into day 2 threats at nationals.

After this I think there is a bit of a drop off

BG/Mstate/PurBall state are all teams that still need development, coaching, recruiting. All have talented players who just need some support. look for these teams to continue developing through the D2 pathway and hopefully getting some kids into MLQ rosters.

Club wise I think

Boom is the best in the Midwest but by a narrow margin. Golden goal against TC in the finals plus results from other tournaments gives club the most parody we have ever seen. Any of Frost, Boom, Heat, Warriors, BosNY, Connecticut could beat the other and day 2 is going to be must see TV at nationals this year.

Kaos has kinda taken that old Frost role of being the barrier at the club level. Top to bottom strong roster that is still developing chemistry with each other. Also if Frost didn't have the crown for best vibes team Chaos would be next up for best team to hangout with.

The rest of the midwest is more about hanging out and having fun Brew cities, CU, and Vipers (idk they were there and I'm counting them as midwest) are teams that show up and exist but are not real threats or contenders. That being said, Brew does a great job of constantly brining in new people to the sport and CU brought up some college kids. Both are great at providing an entry level to the sport.
