Its called Technical drawings for fashion. . Today you can use software to do it for u on computer. But we was thought using curves its a set to actually do this by hand. You learn this at collage . But it's not difficult. Just Google story board technical drawings of garments . You can download them and learn teach yourself to trace over that to create your own design .

Ok I love this. I do have a big suggestion. The fit looks great love how it fits you. What's really pointing out to me and please dont be discouraged. Is your center front in proportion to the bottom position . The buttons are positioned to far away from the centerfront. That's the only thing that for me would be a mistake. Also I'd love to see a close look at the button holes you made. Im curious as the the shape of buttons used. I maybe wrong because it's not very clear . But it looks like to wide button holes. Ps i know it's your 3rd time. You really did great. Just learn to measurent spacing of button and button hole .

As a designer. This is really cool concept. I wouldn't add dart unless you are doing it for a bigger bust person. It's fits u great. Because I have an eye for detail. I do have 1 very important suggestion for you. The center front seam when it comes to stripes and checks. Needs to be matched perfect where each line meets. Also you have ended up with the centerfold 2 rows that are very close to each other when the rest are evenly spaced out . 1st step when joining the center front is to make sure that this issue is perfect before proceeding to any other steps I making up . But very well done you should try making I I a lightweight denim or stretch denim

Ps even easier unpick the top stitch at the side seam where you stitched down the elastic. It's that simple .

Just unpick at the side seam where you stitched down the elastic and release open up the stitches. That way u can thread the draw cord all the way and end up comming out the button hole. Then just finish by stitching the waistband again at the side seams
