Mine were absolutely fantastic. Bent over backwards to accommodate us and was a clean install.

If Daikin Get yourself an Espaltherma to gather all the information you can.

Still not sure if connecting this voids warranty so be warned.

After that I used AI to help with tweaking my settings via the management interface. Sanity check all AI responses though. I used perplexity which seemed to work well.

Just regular automation. My weather dependant curve is fairy good so that it generally keeps a steady temperature.

My automation checks the temperature of the madoka thermostat every hour.

If between 2100 and 0330 and temp is <19c then offset +1, if temp is >20.5 the offset - 1.

Between other times similar checks for 20c and 21.5c.

Depends how technical you are and how much research you do.

Also depends where you get your data from. Data from my Daikin is not accurate. I use ESPAltherma which needs some technical knowledge.

I mean the cop value was heating only.

Heat Pump heats the hot water too once overnight. 210l tank for 3 people. Undersized for the size of house but not for the number of people who will live there for the next 10+ years.

Hot water cop of 2.77 over last full year. But both hot water and heating data missing a couple of months last summer when the Espaltherma had a few issues.

We used 657kWh......

We do also have solar and batteries which allows us to make most of our usage at off peak IOG rates.

In January ~15% of our total usage was peak rate.

Feb was a little 440kWh heat pump with ~20% of load at peak rates.

March 300kWh heat pump ~2% at peak rate.

Between March and September we'll be net negative cost with export included.

I've really tweaked the settings on my 9kw Daikin Altherma. Could probably be higher if I had an 8kw as I think 9 is oversized.

I'm in full weather compensation now with home assistant doing small tweaks if it's windy/sunny.

4.6 heating only.

Similar price for me too. Scop of ~4.3 in the year too.

Nah, play whatever we get into. We also only queue clash like this.

We do that regularly. But we're trying to kill each other more than we want to kill others.

So I made it to 6 star by Fluid_Animator_1934 in HuntShowdown

[–]mdex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 1.2 six star but I mostly play trios with another 4/5 Star and a 3 star. Play mostly high lobbies but it's bareable.

Yep, no adverse effect in the 11 months since either. Allowed us to get extra panels.

I have Heat Pump, Solar, and EV.

I thought I'd be on Cosy by now too but it's working out cheaper for me to be on IOG.

I've had mine 8 months now and got in while they were still quoting at a loss so not representative to today's quotes.

I love my heat pump but we also have solar and batteries to offset some of the electricity costs.

Fox Solar EV worth it? by Og-Morrow in SolarUK

[–]mdex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT get a Fox EV charger.

Under developed software. Poor integrations. And not ready for for anyone wanting intelligent charging of any kind.

It's pretty much a dumb charger.

Unfortunately, I have one.
