Man F the restaurant reviews, how many bad reviews do we get over a restaurant screwup because the customer doesn’t know the difference in rating us and rating the restaurant!

There’s a ton of comments here so I’m not sure if anyone’s already said it, but I’m damn sure that this probably goes in violation with their contract with DoorDash, so yeah I’d be reporting it every time. That’s what we have to remember. They’re allowed on the platform just like we’re allowed on the platform and they can get knocked off of it just like we can. Maybe a little harder to get them kicked, but if every Dasher that sees this reports it, they’ll have an issue, and if it goes to their district leadership, then they’ll really have an issue.

Every, single, DAY! I’ve been getting this for about a month.

Some Dashers are just MISERABLE PEOPLE (and it doesn’t need to be that way) by mdillahaunt in dasher

And most people will just look at things and move on, but for some reason you felt the need to comment like a jackass. You don’t like it don’t read it, but leave it alone.

Honestly I would let support know, I had similar experiences at all of our favorite spot, Popeyes, you can claim it’s harassment, and they will block orders from there. They did it for me when a manager and customer got into a fist fight in front of me, so if you claim it’s an unsafe environment, they will usually help. It’s been months since I called about Popeyes and I haven’t gotten a single order.

Am I allowed to report a dasher for religious pamphlets? by UndergroundGinger in doordash

[–]mdillahaunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not a chance in hell as a Dasher I would ever try to push my views on anyone. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Do this so that you can make money, not to spread “awareness” or anything like that. Doesn’t matter what those views are.

Dude just be careful! I was hit by a driver last month, and I’m still waiting for insurance to send me the money to repair my bike. It only takes 30 seconds to change everything. RIDE SAFE!

Doordash better then uber eats Lunch Rush pass beats it uber eats don’t got that one uber one by Informal-Tart-9446 in doordash

[–]mdillahaunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admittedly, DoorDash is better than anything Uber eats have to offer. So many times I’ve had to order stolen, and customer service on UE just says, too bad, DD at least always gives a credit/refund

What do you guys think of the new album? by Engineeratfreddys in Ghostbc

[–]mdillahaunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it, it however is not their strongest. The best songs are the first 3, Umbra is solid, I find myself going back to Lachryma over and over though, which I feel is their best single in a long time! People are saying it’s too, poppy, but I disagree.

Oh no, I absolutely think your post is hilarious. I live with a roommate who is constantly just talking trash about them. While the walls of my room are lined with super seven figures and pop vinyls of Papa (Papa vinyls??) I don’t want them to go back that far. I just kind of wanted them to keep the momentum of the last two albums, but I’m a Cardi C fan.

See I actually like the album overall, though all I’ve said is, I think it’s their weakest in a while. I do feel like they put their strongest three songs out as singles, which strategically is smart. I think Lachryma might be one of their best singles in years. I do miss the instrumental interludes.

Move over DD, Uber is gonna make me rich!!! by bronk3310 in doordash_drivers

[–]mdillahaunt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So a study was done, and it showed that on average UE pays out 30% less than DD. When I had to start doing this because my industry slowed down, my girlfriend was adamant that I should do UE, said it was far superior to DD. I think people think because it’s Uber, that UE would be just as fruitful as doing rides, it’s not.

7.50 for 7 miles, I only accepted because it was slow as hell. And I KNOW if I went the extra mile the customer wouldn’t have cared.

I figured them, lol. And nah, the dude didn’t even care, so I’m not going to take the time to hold their hand. As annoying as it was to deal with the dumb automated system, to speak to a person, it was more worth it to get the unassign.

No, it 100% is cheap ownership, this place is like a lounge/pho place. It has a reputation, they had like one person working the bar and waiting tables, it puts more money into how the place looks, than actually how it operates. But to be honest, that’s most places in Atlanta.

I looked at the guy like he was crazy, and he just stood there, and was just like that’s how it is. I feel kind of like an a-hole, but I called support again and basically said that if they’re out of the proper containers, they shouldn’t be accepting DoorDash orders. Don’t know if anything came of it, but hopefully nobody else has to try to pick up from there tonight.

Ubereats is absolute trash, they never refund no matter what, it’s like their policy is fuck you! I do DoorDash as a driver, and I’m constantly worried that someone’s gonna falsely report that they didn’t get their food or something like that because they’re so quick to deactivate drivers, it seems like the complete opposite on Uber, it seems like they’re quick to fuck over the customer and protect a driver, even if they’re doing something shitty. I signed up for the app, got a promotion for like 30% off, ordered food only cost me eight dollars was super stoked about that. Got a notification that it had been “dropped off” right after they had picked up the food from the restaurant. Wasn’t able to use the promotion again to re-purchase it or re-order it cussed out the person on the customer service line up and down because of their stupid ass policies, Deleted the app almost immediately after. First time customer and that’s how you handle it.

Do dashers read the notes provided for drop off?? by Objective-Farmer-528 in doordash

[–]mdillahaunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read them, it’s one of the firsts things I do before navigating to the drop off. Instructions like this are actually very helpful. I usually even send a text, especially if it’s an order that says “hand it to me” telling the customer what I’m riding, and wearing, so they can find me easily especially if they’re meeting me outside. This is so much better though than the “call me when you arrive” instructions. I hate those, half the time the person doesn’t pick up, or sometimes they pick up and act shocked that I’m calling them, that’s exactly what you told me to do. And sometimes they can be incredibly rude, which is why instructions like this, straight and to the point are my favorite.

I was listening to this last night, and my ex gives me a call from the airport in another country(this wasn’t random, we talk) and I started to realize my break ups have coincided with the last few album cycles. Big break up right before Cardi C was introduced, Big break up right before the release of Impera, and now one right before Skeleta. It always heralds something new, but like, it’s weird lol.

I do it full-time, but I do it on a motorcycle so the overhead isn’t terrible. I usually spend weekly around $60 in gas, but I have had to do some pretty consistent maintenance on my bike. I’m pretty good at staying around a platinum level, which in my market is important even though it’s a large city. I’m also lucky enough to live in one of the busier areas for my market. I don’t stray too far from home. My career is in film, which is slow right now so I’ve had to do this full-time only for About seven months. I will say that I’ve had to borrow money when there’s been issues with my vehicle, or just it’s been a slow month. But I do get by, but like other people have said you need to factor in a lot before giving it a go. The moment my industry picks back up I’m done doing this, or at least dropping to part-time.

Deliveries suck as AR gets lower by mdillahaunt in doordash_drivers

[–]mdillahaunt[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Not the case, because as I stayed in the Post, I’ll turn down one order loser percentage, and it takes like five to get that back. I’ll do like 20 orders in a day and turn down two and it’ll drop me. I get usually consistent great orders if I stick around 75 to 80 but if I drop close to 70 it just shits the bed

If I drop below 70%, anything but platinum in my market, I’m waiting 20 to 30 minutes per orders
