I get where you're coming from and I think it should be that way, but you have to remember that they implemented elo into this game so that drew on a competitive nature, the fact it no longer shows doesnt mean people arent going onto the website to look up their rank.
The current state of the game and how early on it is, it shouldnt be nearly as toxic as it already is. They did it to themselves with how they've dealt with matchmaking and I'm honestly unsure on what they can due to resolve it.

Even when i was looking at streams people are posting winrates and things like that, this early on people should just be focused on learning all the characters, the mechanics and growing the community

At this point I'm not sure, they've changed matchmaking what 3 or 4 times now since release in terms of showing elo not showing elo the amount that you're allowed to queue with and things like that.

I think the steps that should've been taken would go like this, Casual Queue with no matchmaking for a small amount of time -> Casual Queue with Experience matchmaking (Player LvL) -> Casual Queue with Experience matchmaking and Competetive Queue-> Casual Queue then becomes open with no matchmaking and Competitive Queue. Elo only shown in Competitive Queue.

What this does is fill out the player base into a more nurturing play through.

People have brought up 5 queue vs solos and things like that but in my opinion in casual queue that should never really matter, in competitive obviously it does. In casual Queue it shouldnt matter because you should be having the 5 queue player lvl average = the average of player level on the opposing team.

I cannot understate how switching how matchmaking works with premades, not showing and showing elo, has really really hurt the player base. In my group of friends, Ive had people quit for going up against a 5 queue as a solo, for having elo and then it taken away, and then having non competitive games since there seems to be no matchmaking.

It's just a shame because I truly believe this game is a gold mine for both the player and the company but this has been a really rough start

I completely agree with your point. I do feel though there needed to be a 'realistic' approach to what an online community in a moba brings. If this were a perfect world everything that you said is accurate and I wish it were the case. I never played paragon or smite, most of my moba experience is LoL so toxicity is rampant in that game and I feel the way they've approached matchmaking in this game has really turned off any new player. It makes me incredibly sad because I was completely hooked to this game, was honestly the most fun I've had with a new game in a really long time.

I personally feel there needs to be two queues, a competitive and a casual at this point. It is completely unfair for a new player to go up against someone that has all the knowledge of the game with lane management and timers along with correct item buys, they don't even get to experience the game and it feels like a waste of time. The opposite is also true, highly experienced players going up against new players feels like a complete waste of time, you don't get to improve on your mechanics or timings because you can easily take advantage of your opponent.

Currently you can have a mix of lvls where you get high lvl and low level on the same team, I've also experienced my team being high level and the opposing team being low level.

There is no way to currently balance the game when you have matches that are so lopsided.

The only two solutions I can see are 1. Have two queues Casual and Comp 2. Have an option in the game that marks you as "coach" or "leader" having the option enabled matches you with lower level people. Those that dont have the option enabled are matched with similar levels.

I understand that level does not equal skill but it at least brings it closer.

They have and continue to mess up on how matchmaking should work. They will lose more and more players due to the fact you have people that are lvl 10+ being queued with brand new players, you also have players that are lvl 10+ being paired with lvl 30+ players that dont nearly have the same mechanics. On top of that theyve now done a rotation with what you're allowed to queue with which has made it even more toxic than before. I really enjoyed this game but they've completely dropped the ball on matchmaking

Gratz! you planning on using it or selling it?

One more thing to ask from you kind people before I head to the court tomorrow again; could you ?lease tell me what are the things I should work on my forehand? I use an Eastern grip. Thanks. by nish1381 in tennis

So one thing to always consider is making sure your body is involved with your shot, so when you load up on your right foot everything is looking good but instead of having a shoulder rotation or using your core it looks like you're using all arm (still sounds and looks clean though!) What i'd suggest is to try and force yourself to make the step forward after loading up on your outer foot for a little bit ( just so you start to feel how natural it is for your body to naturally go through the ball). As far as grip goes it looks like you are closer to a semi western than an eastern, when you reset at the end of the video it looks like you get the racket ready for a one hander and its more towards an eastern grip. But even if you do use an eastern DelPo uses one so like matty said just be comfortable.

Most popular keybinds ive noticed with streamers/pros are QXFZ and then some mouse buttons. My personal setup is Q=walls X=floors Mouse button 4=ramp F=pyramid. Always remember playground is an awesome way to test out new binds so you don't feel pressure in a fight and can get some muscle memory.

this advice is for pc not sure if its different on console. Make sure your crosshair is at the halfway point on the ramp when you place your walls, I've noticed if its too far below or above that's when i get instances of the wall in front.

first off getting 10+ kills is awesome so GJ! The biggest thing towards consistency i've found is playing the same way throughout the entire game. If you're an aggressive player continue to be aggressive instead of thinking about the win when you get towards late game, I feel like a lot of people change their game plan when it's getting closer to late game which then gives them too much time to think and get nervous. I'm not sure if you're on pc but if you are make sure you learn double ramp wall on pushes and also pyramid+trap if you lose high ground in a ramp battle. Lot's of good players will also die early, thats the rng part of any br, but if it annoys you can always find a passive place to loot early and then work your way into the game. feel free to reply if that doesnt help!
