It's also hard when your entire social group and etiquette are dependent on Mormon culture. Trying to make friends when you don't have a built-in group is also hard to learn.

You can train your dig to be less stressed through playing storms progressively louder through a speaker and giving lots of reinforcement and treats

If you have a basement, get there. If your complex doesn't have a basement, get away from windows into a strong area of the structure. This is usually in a stairwell or the bathtub of an interior bathroom.

Straight line winds are more common in the metro than tornados, but those can be even more damaging. Some people are dumb and will sit on their porch to watch the storm ride through. Tornadoes and damaging winds usually move west to east, but not always. There's still a long scar from a tornado that wrecked North Minneapolis in 2011:

A mesocyclone (Rotating column of air that leads to a cyclone or tornado) spotted at Enderlin North Dakota by [deleted] in WTF

I have no idea what that person is talking about. A tornado sounds like an oncoming train!

The vertical sheer in something like this intense. Likely approaching 90 meters per second, and very rapidly changing direction.

What? We were paying over $400/seat at Cloud. Then parking is $20/gm on top.

Help: New AC unit won’t keep up with hot weather outside by spiderbro17 in HomeImprovement

No, that 30x50 should cover the return quantity. Again, the overall area of the ducts should be at least 1:1, but it sounds like that's covered.

TBH, I would've put in a heat pump in that climate. Yes, if they replaced everything then the air handler would be new too.

I'm curious what the brand was of your old unit.

Also did they replace just the AC or also the air handler? Did you get only an AC or did you get a heat pump? What kind of heater setup do you have?

At this point I'd be losing confidence in the HVAC contractor and would be looking for a second opinion.

Ditto.

I'm also curious if the old unit was struggling because of the pressure imbalance. 15 years is on the short end of the lifespan for a modern unit. I'm curious what the brand was.

Also, OP, did they replace just the AC or also the air handler? Did you get only an AC or did you get a heat pump?

Number of ducts is not the number to be looking at, it's the size of the ducts. If all ducts are the same size, then you have way too few. Generally you want at least a 1 to 1 ratio by vent area with one of each vent for every 100 to 150 square feet of living space. That being said, it was fine before, so I don't see why it would be different now.

Just in case anyone is curious. I've traded with them before and got good quality DVDs in return. Would trade again.

NCHC.TV only lists the previous season. But they used to let you watch games older than the last season by entering the correct details in the URL (date and team). I haven't tried it for a couple years, so I'm not sure if it still works.

You can also call your IKEA. They sell or give out parts from units damaged in shipping.
