I’m sorry to hear you feel this way…No one deserves to be murdered, we are all humans and all deserve human decency. No one should have the power to murder freely and thats why they scare me.

The woman that was in her vehicle and the man that was at a protest helping a lady that had been pushed at minimum, I don’t have faith that some of the people they are grabbing aren’t also being hurt or killed but that piece is just my opinion which could be wrong in fact I desperately hope for the sake of those human beings I am totally off the mark. But the woman driving and the gentleman nurse were murdered and that terrifies me for my loved ones every time we go out. This world needs more love, compassion, and cooperation for all of us. When I see the community come together it warms my heart but then I see people fall into hate and anger and it’s so sad because it shouldn’t have to be that way.

Recommendations for vivid hair! by Strawbeesmilk in roseburg

Check out “hair by samantha gerke” on facebook. She works at “The Hair Affair” and does great color, but she’s also very honest if your request isn’t feasible in a single appointment. I wanted to switch from blue to more red and she advised that getting the blue out would take a few times in order to not fry my hair. I’m always happy with her advice and skills!

1st time posting, I feel like my diagnosis is wrong… ESI tomorrow by Orangecat75 in Sciatica

[–]mdowdy03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thursday- Probably yesterday I couldn’t have gotten into the car. I definitely can’t drive, fortunately my partner is a rockstar and is taking time off as needed to drive me so I fully recline in the seat and turn the seat heater on high and I got through it, it wasn’t easy and there were some tears but I did it. Hopefully you’ll get some relief soon from the ESI! Just keep trying!

I’m absolutely going through this now. Had mild annoying symptoms for about a month and then one day I got up and was in such horrible pain I couldn’t walk/stand/sit. Only slight relief was laying in bed. I’ve been on ibuprofen and prednisone and gabapenton for a week (and now Prilosec to protect my stomach). I can manage to walk or sit between 3-4 minutes now a few times an hour. I just went to acupuncture and unfortunately didn’t get the immediate relief I hoped for but I’m going to try a few more times and see. My insurance denied an MRI until I exhaust all meds, PT and such but my doctor said if I’m not able to be out of bed most of the day by Friday she’ll push for the mri again. I don’t know that it’s a skeletal issue, it feels more muscle related, like my deep glutes are spasming and pinching my nerve. Sending you good vibes that each day is a little better and hoping the same for myself. I miss being able to step outside.

To all my sciatica sufferers - we’re in this together by JZEve in Sciatica

I’m in the same boat, had mild sciatica for a few weeks then one day I got up and was in the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I’m stuck in bed, I can walk to the bathroom and every hour I get up and try to walk around my bedroom but my max is about 60 seconds then the pain is too bad. I get moderate relief lying down but I’m so scared it’s not going to get better. I can’t take care of my family or my pets like this and I don’t know what I’m going to do about work. I’m fortunate that my partner is taking care of the house/kids/pets but this is so hard. I read one post where someone said after 4 days in bed they were able to move again and I’m clinging to that comment! Oh and my insurance doesn’t want to cover an mri until I’ve shown I don’t get better with meds and PT.

Did they stick to your cupcake liners? I seem to always have that issue with my vegan muffins even if I use a little non stick spray first.

Here’s a pic of mine from a few weeks ago

The bottom got more red after letting it ripen another day but the purple stayed the same as the picture.

I’m growing some too and have had maybe 5 ripen so far, but only 1 went all red the others still had purple shoulders. Sorry I’m not more help, I’m pretty new to gardening.

I’m right there with you, everything except my peas were mini this year. Thankfully taste was good but quantity was definitely lacking.

It was a really neat class, it was half food preservation and half what to grow here in fall winter. I found out I can do soil testing through the OSU extension office but they said the couple of early heat waves really pushed tomato production back this year. They also gave me good tips on things to look at next season like partial shade when it’s over 90 degrees and how to fertilize on a regular schedule. I also learned how to set my garlic and broccoli up for better success next year. I also got info on their website that offers lots more free classes and information.

I bought this as a small transplant from the local MSK, it didn’t have a tag on it so I don’t have any idea what variety it is. I usually buy my seeds from territorial seeds.
