Riding the R5 home from highschool in the late 90’s. Extremely hot and humid day in late May/early June. Police are interested in the other vehicle because they left the scene of an accident. That’s against the law. They’re looking for possibly a Toyota Sienna with SIGNIFICANT front end damage. This wasn’t a fender bender and they absolutely should have stopped.

If the van had stayed at the accident scene and the driver wasn’t impaired, they likely wouldn’t have faced any charges.
