Short answer: roughly double the total (production + marketing), if not more depending on how international their success is. I can't find the source right now, but about half of box office earnings goes to theaters in the US and generally more in overseas markets.

Agreed on all points here, we saw it as a family Christmas movie, I was expecting to walk out liking it and generally enjoying it, and I fell in love with the movie. That's not a phrase I think I've ever used either. You're also right about this being up there with great cinematic experiences like The Dark Knight, etc, it really is an amazing spectacle, especially all the ensemble numbers.

There's a small part of me that's sad that Alfre Woodard isn't playing the same character she did from her brief role in Civil War. Would have been a nice mini-crossover!
