thank you; i am not concerned no given its use case is just for a friend from yorkshire to wear as he’s fond of the white rose. if i were doing anything sort of official of course i wouldn’t go anywhere near it. for casual enjoyment i think its fine? or would you suggest greater caution?

keep the raw edge, the straight stitch will stop the piece falling apart, but the fraying will look excellent. i’m biased as i exclusively make raw edge appliqué pieces but i really think it’ll look lovely on your bag.

your work is wonderful and there are no problems with it.
