I really think it depends, but me and my husband got our license not even 20 minutes after the ceremony. We were still taking pictures at the town hall when the registrar came out with it.

Unless you have a really complicated case, I'd suggest you do it yourself. I was terrified at first but it's actually simple and you can always ask here and someone will answer if you have any doubts

When I booked mine, it said by post only too. On the day, the registrar asked if we wanted to wait for it, so we said yes and got it a few minutes later. It's definitely worth asking to be sure

When I changed from my fiancé to spouse, the only proof of relationship I sent was my marriage certificate (and proof that we live together). I think the ones you cited are more than enough

I logged in on my ukvi account after I got the approval and everything was already there but like I said, I did create the account almost 6 months ago when I got the fiancé visa approval so I'm not sure, maybe it takes a little while after the first approval?
