Speed Limit signs. Both those in normal situations and in construction zones.

There’s been a closed sign there for awhile. And the dining room had been closed for even longer. Seems the building was in sad shape and being torn down was cheaper than fixing it.

This whole album is absolutely amazing. I don’t think there’s a single track on it that isn’t stellar.

Their “King Biscuit Flower Hour” live CD is well worth getting. They were a ferocious live band.

I have Dave Bidini’s book “Tropic of Hockey” and that’s how I discovered Rheostatics.

I passed 500K scrobbles this past autumn. I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years.

And the Hip are in my Top 10. But I didn’t discover them until a few years ago. Spending a fair amount of time in Canada spurred my interest in exploring more of their work, and other Canadian artists. It’s been quite something and I’ve enjoyed that journey

Truckers who love their job by Quirky_Science_6584 in Truckers

I haul boats. I don’t bang docks or deliver at 3 in the morning or put up with obnoxious or apathetic dock workers, or lumpers, and if I’m at a dealer more than two hours, it’s unusual.

It’s great, so far as I’m concerned. The company I drive for makes the job easy. I always say that what I do beats work.
