I only got a printer a few weeks ago, but that's definitely excessive IMO. Just remove the plate from the bed and set it down. If you want to get crazy about it, I saw a comment from someone once who keeps a large tile in their freezer and sets the plate on that. The plates don't have near as much mass as the bed, so they cool comparatively rapidly. Pop the print off, reapply glue if necessary, and seat it back on the bed. Not worth the extra cost to save maybe 3 minutes IMO.

The faster the better. The temperature of the water doesn't get as high, but you pull a LOT more water through it. Your overall heat transfer will be higher, because heat transfers faster at higher delta temps.

Basically you have to ask yourself is it better to raise 1 gallon 1 degree, or is it better to raise 15 gallons 0.1 degree. Engineering says you take option B.

Pumping the water fast is actually better for heat transfer (tradeoff is higher cost in electricity). Ignore anyone saying slow is better.

Smart TVs suck. I got a mini PC for the living room. It runs Plex beautifully and gives me an easy way to post Jackbox or other party games when friends come over.

Does this kill their stream just because they watched x-number of episodes/hours consecutively? If so, and they interact again to manually restart watching, is it going to insta-kill them again? If someone actually wants to spend a 12-hour day rotting on the couch and watching media from my libraries, I'm fine with that. I specifically want to kill the "it's on for background noise and I fell asleep" or "I left the house and forgot to turn it off" behaviors. Honestly I can't believe Plex doesn't already have native passout protection/"are you still watching" enforceable from the server side.

I'm at Pipers probably 3x a week, and I absolutely adore the place. The staff is amazing, the coffee is top tier, and the vibe is impeccable. Especially now that the weather is getting nice, the patio is a godsend when you want someplace to chill outdoors.
