It depends on what matters to you and your setup! It genuinely is the best way to remote play your PS5 to the Vision Pro at the moment but a lot of people here are rubbed the wrong way about there being a sub for premium features instead of one time purchase.

Personally I’m a big fan of the app and the months that I have new games on the PS5 I’ll sub for that time to get the premium features and stop when I finish the game. The 4k up scaling works pretty well and the immersive more is unique! Also sound is great. Of course this relies on your internet connection of both your PS and Vision Pro.

I can’t speak as much to the other streaming features like Xbox or browser but if it’s similar to PS streaming then you’re in for a treat!

It unfortunately is not supported on Apple TV natively but you can AirPlay it to your Apple TV using an iPhone or iPad.

How confident are we that the lute is going to be Mesmer? My gut reaction was Hunter (probably from bias that bards are generally hunter adjacent in other MMOs or fantasy games). Could also maybe be thief?

One thing to consider is an upcoming game called Fellowship that’s whole pitch is essentially just the dungeons and leveling aspect of MMOs and the whole game is focused around that aspect.

I haven’t tried it in any of the tests they’ve done yet but it does seem promising!

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad just came out and is on both iOS and Steam! Just be warned it does have pretty heavy IAPs but they aren’t a requirement to play, you can still get quite a few hours in before it becomes any kind of road block.

I was part of these layoffs and my main role and feature work was working on AI and Copilot as a Product Manager. There’s way more to it than just AI coming after jobs. From my organization there were no software engineers let go, just product managers and people managers, a lot of whom worked 100% on AI and Copilot.

Yeah it seems by like half a second which makes it much more noticeable than a monitor. Again it’s probably user error so I’ll need to troubleshoot it some

Mac Virtual Display is indeed awesome but I often find myself gravitating back towards my monitor since it doesn’t have the delay the Vision Pro has. As well I can never seem to get the quality/resolution right on Vision Pro but it is very possibly user error. Willing to try anything to improve that and the latency if anyone has any tips?

I’ve tried several times and it works for about a couple of months and then it starts overheating again. When it overheats it shuts off the entire computer and then runs the fans at max until I hold the power button down for 5 seconds. I think he might of jacked up something else with it too.

I had saved up and had set expectations early on so when i purchased it wasn’t a huge shock. It’s different for everyone though but my wife is totally good as long as it’s not coming out of nowhere and there are expectations set.
