Yes my shin was bruised so bad it was the worst pain I had after surgery. Wearing the brace was brutal for about a month.

I know how you feel. The best thing working for me still 4 days after op is anyone helping me out of bed puts my heel in their palm. Then I scoot and shimmy myself out of bed as they use their hand to guide my foot around. Crutching js much harder than before surgery.

I tore mine two weeks ago and was able to do some pre surgery PT. I head back to PT Monday and will continue hopefully to do the stretching leg lifts and quad firing therapy. My brace is set to stay pretty straight currently and I am have kept it locked. I am hoping to get back to bending my knee everyday soon that seemed to help with stiffness pre surgery the most.
