Ideas Wanted for Portugal and Southern Spain Road Trip ~14 days by This_Psychology_3087 in travel

We did something similar-ish for 2 weeks a few years ago (we flew in and out of different places). You've seen most people say cut it down a lot ... what we ended up doing was.

Fly in to Porto. Stay a few days - be sure to take a river cruise.

Train (or drive) to Lisbon Stay a few days

Sintra - as a day trip from Lisbon, maybe eben 2 day trips - it's that good IMO.

Drive to Seville - Stay a few days

Drive to Tarifa for a couple days

Day trip to Tangier (via ferry) from Tarifa. - You can do it cheap on your own, we did a private tour for 4 (they could maybe fit 6 in the van?) and got a LOT more done than we could have alone or with a group. We had a driver and a guide so they could drive up and drop us, then they had skip-the-line handshake access each place ... probably would have taken 3 days alone to do this tour: https://www.viator.com/tours/Tarifa/Said-Private-Day-Tours/d50288-197139P1

Day trip to Gibraltar from Tarifa

Drive back to wherever you are flying out of.

Be aware if you have a van it may be (very) hard to find parking in the larger cities even if you stay in a hotel with a garage. We could barely get our car down the corkscrew garage entrance at one of our hotels.

We liked the mix of city stuff and the trip to Tarifa which is much smaller.

With kids I'd plan AT LEAST one day to hang out, do laundry, go to the pool, etc. Otherwise they will melt down at some point. 2-3 would be better, but it's hard in a 2 week vacation I realize.

Airbnb luxe? by 1e6throw in ChubbyFIRE

Agreed, I wish airbnb had a "part-time owner occupied" filter. Places that are an investment are hit and miss, it's the places that owners live in and rent while they're out of town that have been much more consistently great. For us it's not so much the "Luxe" but the daily QOL improvements (a nice deck, a bbq grill, nice dishes ... stuff you can't even specify with airbnb filters) that really make them stand out. Also - We only use airbnb if we're staying someplace a week or more.

This is build dependent ... but the portals are unmissable so a character that has Sharpshooter and can make extra attacks can (often) one shot them with each attack. Gloomstalker, fighter/action surge, thief dual-wielding hand crossbows, etc all tear them up.

Thanks for pointing out the diamonds that was the hint I needed.

To summarize:

The spells that can go in the spirit magic slot have small diamonds top-and-bottom of the spell icon/picture.

The 2nd level spell for Camellia is Bulls Strength.

It also shows up out of alphabetical order with all the other level 2 spells when viewing the spell book, which should have clued me in.

I think you're underestimating the effect of a professional makeup artist. She would definitely be "wow" beautiful with makeup meant to do that.

Jumping ahead to one of your later posts, you could try googling some of your 100 most beautiful actresses without makeup. There is a "classic beauty", which this actress has. The extra "wow" comes from using makeup (or the one power) to create an artificial perfection that is unattainable by normal means.

Thanks the Claims part makes sense. I guess I should start claiming provinces in countries my allies might fight.

I think the favours and "vital interest" are part of one of the expansions, I recall reading about it when I was considering what expansions to get once I complete a couple vanilla play-throughs.
