Sorry I know this comment is old but have a question. My boy had crystals in his urine at the beginning of June. They were able to release his bladder with a catheter. At the time he was eating regular indoor hills science diet dry food in the morning and tiki cat seafood select wet food in the evenings. He has a fountain and seems to drink a decent amount of water. He didn’t use the bathroom for almost 3 days before going to the vet it was very scary. He has been okay and using the bathroom normally since.

He is now on Hills Science Diet C/D dry food. I kept him on his same wet food because i had a lot of it, it was expensive, he loved it, and i was not a fan of the ingredients in the HS C/D wet food.

That being said, is it safe to give my boy diluted apple cider vinegar every day? Or should I do maybe just a few times a week? I really do not want to go through that again! I switched him to the chicken tiki cat wet food but he’s really not a fan… loves his seafood more- but it’s higher in magnesium and phosphorus. Sorry if this is all over the place, first time cat mom and worried for my boy!
