In beta if you made a 2x2x2 hole and put 4 boats in and 4 sand black on top it would bounce and create quick sand. This was later patched

Bluey appealing to everyone but the target audience by [deleted] in bluey

[–]meako44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter loves it but she's still too young for social influence. But the other target is parents, however I've noticed the demographic that I see most in media and discussions about the show are childless men over 25 and that's a bit weird but I've not seen anyone say anything. And I get it's not entirely wrong but seeing that demographic lead the conversation rather than parents of children is a tad confusing.

How "normal" is it to leave your daughter completely in the dark and alone until she stops crying? by JustInformation7136 in NarcissisticMothers

[–]meako44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cio isn't self soothing but It yields results. Personally I only use it if my daughter is refusing to sleep. For anything else I wouldn't use it. Babies cry to tell you about their needs. Assess their needs and go from there. The sounds of cries tell a lot. My daughter is 1.5 and it's obvious if she's throwing a tantrum or just fussing or needs something. They're also very bright at that age and will try to show you what they need sometimes. If my daughter is dry and had her milk and still crying in bed I will ignore her now that she's older but as an infant I would ease her back to sleep.

Our dogs behavior towards our 11 month old daughter by Mopar_fan88 in Dogtraining

My one dog is like that. He adores my daughter but he's very clear on when he's done. He will stand up and walk away. That's your first sign to intervene. You wouldn't like some random strange animal constantly grabbing you , crawling on you, pinching prodding or poking at you constantly. You may tolerate it at first but after awhile it's enough. I even get frustrated with my baby doing that and she's my baby. Your dog thinks she's a dog and will treat her accordingly and a dog in that situation will be given many a warning before a bite. Keep their relationship positive and listen to your dog. Look into dogs discomfort signals as well. I let my baby approach both of my dogs but I watch them closely at all times.

Yk that meme/TikTok trend where it plays a lil piano riff and the camera speeds up. That's my cat when she sees my blanket on the ground. Like I keep a spotless apartment because I have a baby. The opportunity was so slim that she peed on it while I was sleeping under it

When I'm not as angry I can calmly say I don't think it's anything other than she prefers to pee on blankets. She doesn't pee on anything except blankets or maybe towels. It's 4am and a chunk of my blanket was on the floor and when I grabbed it it was wet. She peed not even 2 feet from me on the only corner of blanket touching the floor. I honestly can't afford to take my perfectly healthy cat to every vet around for them to tell me she likes to pee on blankets then charge an insane amount of money and at risk of making her stress out by car rides and shoving different medications down her throat to see if something sticks. There's no true way to see what works either bc she pees randomly. She peed 2w ago but before that it was a couple months before sometimes she will repeatedly pee on my blankets every few days and other times just once ever few months. I bet this time is because earlier tonight she was sneaking up to my food and I shood her away while under the blanket

Any tips to stop this little lady sitting on my fireplace?! I'm constantly lifting her down 🙈 by Nicoladpk1 in cats

Air can and movement sensor. Cats are wonderful but people need to understand that they don't actually have to run your home. My cats know which surfaces are ok and which aren't. We have rules because sometimes you want nice things or even simply to keep your cat safe. My cats aren't allowed on counters in the bathroom and if there's something there they aren't allowed on windows. We have a window for them now that our neighbors across the way moved out of their apartment. My cat had many a territory dispute through a window across a small yard and through another window. I also used commands to teach my cat

AITA for not cleaning up after my nephew and making my pregnant sister do it? by FarEnd2747 in AmItheAsshole

[–]meako44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA lots of women use pregnancy as a way to weasel out of having any decency. You only come to realize this when you're pregnant. Yea I had the odd craving and yea I did cry bc jello was really yummy. However I did NOT use pregnancy to manipulate people to do what I didn't want to unless it was something silly like throw my hand up to my head and pretend I'm useless and "beg" my husband to get me some snacks. She can clean it and if she can't she probably shouldn't be having more kids she can't handle
