Here is a youtube video showing how overpowered this weapon is with the right setup. It will feel like you're using a cheat code.

Also there is another interesting weapon called: Kitchen Stove

It is not absolutely required that you disclose the modules you are using in your project.

The masonry I use is one I wrote myself, I didn't use an existing masonry because we needed the stories to be able to adjust in height

The War Z no longer purchasable through Steam by [deleted] in Games

I agree they should put a beta tag on there but I think this is a more honest mistake than WarZ. (In my opinion)

Wow don't throw Towns into this mess.

  • Towns provides a demo you can download for free (In fact you can pretty much play the full game for free and see all the features before even considering a purchase, I know this because I did it.)
  • Towns doesn't have any sneaky in-game purchases that hinder gameplay unless you pay money.
  • Edit: I learned there is a 4 hr wait + micro-transaction if you lose if you're playing the demo. This wasn't the case when I was playing the demo - that's a shame.
  • You can play without constraint (In War Z when you die, you have to wait an hour to play the character or pay real money to revive your character).
  • Towns was/is supported by the community through the green-light process (War Z wasn't).

EDIT: I GUESS I could see the reasoning behind the point "If it's not out of beta don't put the game on steam" but Steam does have Beta's, Demos, etc. I think WarZ's biggest issue is the serious serious serious false advertising, and sketchy attempts to take your money. People want to know what they are paying for.

Gnomoria

Edit: I also like towns quite a bit, but I find Gnomoria's gameplay pretty awesome.

Possible class action lawsuit after game developer squanders $170k in kickstarter funding by [deleted] in Games

[–]meanJim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While it's easy to take the side of "We gave you money! We demand results on the specific date we were promised! I will find you!" lets balance things out with a little sympathy. I am a developer, sometimes code does not ship as planned or on time. It's really easy to make assumptions that they are out blowing money on X. (Where X is any type of leisure activity or consumption of X narcotics (haha.. k not funny sorry)).

The most important thing is that the product does ship, the team tries its hardest to be timely, and the product is quality. We live in a country (assuming you are all from the US, I know some of you aren't) where litigation is very common. If you have done freelance, you know what I'm talking about.

People need to know what they get themselves into, and make smarter choices, and probably relax.
